You can... do it by using dism apply image command...and manually creating... boot partition...
Or you can use an app...i forgot the name...
Ill try that when im home
try Windows To Go (you can do it from Rufus)
said above i dont want to use it
as i believe itll lock out feature updates, and i later want to make this a standard internal drive so id like to make it a standard install
anyway im going to try dism apply image soon
trying, but i end up not able due to
"Error: 5
Access is denied."
trying to erase the drive and format as ntfs beforehand, but command prompt in windows installation media takes forever. jeez.
Run as admin?...
was doing it in install media so couldnt
process ended up being
format drive as fat32
format as ntfs in windows
apply image using windows
make bootable
put drive into mac pro
boot into drive
setup
boot back into macos
manually set name
that was all
