I forgot to mention that I use a VPN at times (Mullvad), yet I'm not sure if it could be the reason
aggiorni spesso il pc? hai mica installato/scaricato qualsiasi tipo di roba da internet? ||do you update the pc usally? you installed/runned something from the internet lately?||
Neither things, I don't recall updating nor downloading anything unusual. Running a scan on the PC also gave no results
(Sorry I'm a spanish speaker ðŸ˜)
It may have updated perhaps last week? My memory is rather bad, I cannot say for sure.
dont worry i brelived you were italian
Sorry, I'm uruguayan 😔
could you tell me if you reneber downloading/installing anything from the internet? anything you reneber
No, not that I recall. I haven't really downloaded anything lately
whats the last thing you renember downloading/installing?
there is nothing to worry about i can still help you
A client update of a game (Identity V)
Official website and such, just in case to make sure it doesn't seem like a random torrent download ðŸ˜
ok, so i have 2 theory: 1 you somehow got an malware; 2 there is an type of bug on the driver or to some app that is under the system category that make do dowload something again and again
do you notice like the disk is filling whithout you saving something on the disk?
Maybe? I cannot say for sure... I tend to have weekly folders on certain updated files so I tend to assume it's that, since those files tend to be quite large
There was a time I realized I had more than I expected, so it could be a yes
whit what type of file you work whit?
Unpacking NPK files
i have no idea of what they are so im afraid i cant help you mutch
I don't think they're related to the issue, they're mostly files from a specific game engine
Maybe I could just take the safe route and factory reset
https://youtu.be/sk0WYmhmLIE?si=LQOmXIOLj34hmVhu try this to see what app esactly uses that mutch data
Both Windows 11 and Windows 10 have a handy tool that shows how much Internet data each app on your Windows PC has used within the last 30 days. This video shows how to use it, step-by-step.

thats strange
I found a possible solution, so I'll see if it works
what is it?
mayabe i have an idea
In someone else's case, it was
"I have identified the problem. The system service regsvr32.exe is constantly attempting to register a program with Microsoft. It has two copies running, using a constant 0.1Mbps and peaking at over 7Mbps whenever the system is not touched for a few minutes."
my idea is to track the app that uses live the most internet
whit task manager
Ooo that's a good idea
