hi, so i am trying to upload a VLC file (6gb) onto a 16 gb USB stick, although when i go to copy and paste it over it says the file is too large for the destination (the usb)

Reformat it to NTFS instead of FAT32 (maximum file size of 4GB)

#

⚠️ Don't use USBs for long-term storage, USB sticks are disposable

You're welcome! I just say that since people expect them to run for 5 years and beyond, they can, but cheap flash memory tends to fail quicker

just always have 2 copies of any file you don't want to lose. As the saying goes "two is one, one is none" meaning if you only have one copy of a file, you might as well have none because it's just a matter of time until it's gone
