is it normal for there to be no scan button in windows defender
i tried mrt full scan and sfc /scannow it said 2 corrupted files detected and it was fixed, MY PROBLEMS ARE NOT FIXED

There is no program called Windows defender on your computer. You must be talking about Windows security. And no, it's not normal to have the scan button missing there. Unless of course you have another antivirus that has taken over (windows security disables itself if it ever sees you install other antivirus programs )

Or it could even be malware that has broken it to stop you from removing the virus
