This randomly occured a few months ago, where the wallpaper went black and says "Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows isn't genuine.
This had occured maybe a year ago, and I found some youtube videos to fix it where you go into cmd and type "slmgr -rearm" and it worked. Then the issue happened again after a few months and I fixed it again. This time no matter how many times I do nor how persistent I am, it just doesnt go away. It bothers me alot and keeps popping up messages every 30 mins exactly to tell me its not genuine.
And btw this computer is really old so I dont have the activation disc or anything, only the product key in control panel.
I dont know if you guys help with Windows 7, but please do I really wanna fix this

also you should REALLY consider:
upgrading your computer
or updating to Windows 10
yes i have but
im psure upgrading to windows 10 on a pretty bad hardware computer slows it down right
if you pop an ssd in it will make it so much faster, but im assuming this old pc has an hdd in it
okay
btw is it free to download windows 10 and like do u need to backup data on an external usb or sum
it’s free to download windows 10 but it wont be activated, you can use some tools to activate them but they are piracy and it’s against the server’s rules
also you are able to update from windows 7 to 10 and keep your files, HOWEVER I do not recommend this, just backup your stuff onto another drive and do a clean install of windows 10
basically yes
ig ill try
but it was so random, happened out no where like why did it just randomly deactivate
and the method that worked stopped working after i did it 2 times a year or so ago
which was slmgr -rearm in cmd
dosent -rearm only have 3 uses?
