Is this a screen or driver, settings issue?

Laptop is an ASUS ROG GL552V.

Laptop on left doesn't have this issue. Right does.

Is it just a different kinda screen on the right?

I looked it up too and didn't know there's different kinds of screens. Is it because the one on the right is full matte and the one on the left is pure gloss? @grave light
