#Windows Security application is Blank

This has happened multiple times, and I have reinstalled my system multiple times (I have even verified integrity and re-downloaded the application from Powershell and yet nothing). Does anyone know how to solve this issue as it's been bothering me for a while? Thanks.

#

I would also like to note that, when deleting a file that is owned by my account, it says that I need permission from my account to delete it.

Reinstalled security health, to which it told me to start the service which I clicked on, only for it to say it failed or something to start it.

#

The startup type and stuff are also greyed out in services.msc, meaning I am literally unable to start it.

This is a case of corrupted Windows installation that is beyond any Powershell/App reset/repair.
You should do one of the following

  1. Reset Windows installation: Settings - System - Recovery - Reset this PC
  2. Clean install (read the section Reinstall Windows 11 using installation media)
    Applies to both Windows 11/10.

Protip: No 1 doesn't always resolve the issue. Backup important data into the cloud/external storage before performing No 2

What could this issue have been caused by if you know?

#

Because it's happened a few times now, so if I can prevent it in future that would be grand.

I wouldn't know. could be bad Windows update, but usually screwed by the users themselves e.g. installing hacks/pirated software, manually editing registry.

also, get your Windows installer updated. don;t use outdated ISO/media creator.
