#can’t access bios

i have a prebuilt pc and i just recently got an ssd card for it and i need to access my bios menu to configure it but i cant. whenever i try to access bios (through advanced startup or by pressing the bios button on startup) my screen goes black and i get a “no signal” message on my monitors. i’ve tried clearing my cos, i checked that my monitor is plugged into my mobo, and no luck. does anyone know a fix? thank you

i think what’s happening is when i get into bios my monitor doesn’t detect the signal

because i don’t get a no signal message when i just boot up normally

Does the PC boot to Windows or whatever OS you have installed?

But does the dell logo show up at startup?

Some guy managed to fix it by using a dp to vga adapter
