Whenever I connect my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 5620 with Windows 11 Home to my phone's mobile wifi hotspot, it connects to the wifi network, but the laptop side says "no internet". At the same time the phone does have internet, so the problem isn't the internet. I have the PortMaster monitoring and protection service running, and nothing else to do with networking outside of the tooling that is built into Windows 11.

Does your service provider allow your phone to be used as a hotspot?
Should be able to test it by connecting a different device or checking your contract
