#Hyper-V or VMWare Player

I prefer Hyper V. Only trade off is that guest integration tools only seem to work on modern Windows versions
don’t know, I never had a problem with a guest OS freezing
it doesn’t use it
My take on it, if you have Windows Guests, I think 8 and above idk about 7, Hyper-V does decently. If you’re on low end hardware, Hyper-V’s dynamic memory is awesome.
If you’re looking for more Linux guests or older Windows, I recommend VMware. Also with networking VMware just seems to be easier than Hyper-V.
I use multiple VMware VMs because VMware is just easier.
How many vCPUs or cores did you give it
Windows 10 requires a bare minimum of 2 cores.
Also if it’s a spinning hard drive (HDD) yeah there’s your problem, also assuming that you also use the HDD for your OS
A HDD struggles a lot with running multiple OSes
Had some old classmates using HDDs for 2-3 VMs and they all just kept freezing constantly
Damn somethings not right then
