I have some apps which have bugs relating to turning on mouse acceleration. Wondering if there is a way to just completely remove the functionality, regristry edit maybe?

some games can hardware capture the mouse input and apply its own smoothing/acceleration
it's up to each game, usually they have some way of disabling it
or if you have vsync enabled, try disabling it
the extra frame delays with vsync can sometimes feel like mouse acceleration
but it would help if you could clarify exactly which games or apps you have a problem with
