Hi, I am trying to create a partition of around 100 GB from my C: drive.

I have 190 GB free space, but I am only able to shrink 17 GB of it.

Apparently there is an unmovable file called \$Mft::$BITMAP. (from Event Logger)

I have disabled hibernation, pagefile, system protection, defragged my disk and used disk cleanup

Is there any way I can fix this?

You can try and use diskpart

#

The mft file stands for "master file table"

#

It has data of all files on your disk

#

Which also means you can't do anything about the file

#

Because deleting it is like formatting your whole partition
