windows reset issues

hey, im having issues wiping my hdd. when i try to, it says its unable to find a windows installation media even tho i have one pluged in. ive tried multiple different usbs with no luck. i dont rlly want to go the formatting route since im not confident in my abilities to revive windows from that stage. im kinda annoyed at how hard its becoming to simply delete everything lol. anyone know a fix?

local accounts are not related to any ms products, and means you dont have to use yours, while microsoft accounts require a lot more info, and are wonky
