Hey, at the moment my pc, when turning on,goes into a blue screen. After a while it goes into advanced options and there,i tried to do a system restore. For some reason i forgot my account password and need help with fixing my pc and resetting my account password

#

i was using regedit because i searched online that it would help with one of my devices disconnecting and reconnecting and making a noise every time i played a video game

here i’ll tell you what i did

first i searched up why when i played video games, i kept hearing a disconnect and reconnect sound and it led me to event viewer

then from there i found the warning event happening

#

a lot

#

then i clicked on it and found some hkey and a bunch of numbers and letters after it

then i searched up how to fix that and it let me to changing 2 hkeys

#

but i couldn’t change them and a window popped up saying access denied

then i searched that up and changed one of the files after hkey_ localmachine

registry editor is just a editor for files the windows os uses to do a lot or store data; hives are storage locations for these, and just are those files

you are on a version of windows made to install windows (windows pe) and we have to load the hive from your main computer to make it editable
