howdy! are questions about outdated OSes answered here? im looking for support for Windows 8.1
I'm on an old Asus Transformer (T100TAM) and I've been using VSCode from time to time and i didn't see this problem anywhere... my pwsh and cmd seem to be broken.
THIS is what my pwsh looks like (image attached, the one with the dark blue background and garbage escape characters) and my cmd looks like THIS. There's no apparent issues with the cmd but the issues come in place when ssh-ing into things - typing and console view is COMPLETELY broken, erasing characters doesnt work and overall... it works very poorly.
Powershell also makes an error sound every time you input any command. Anyone else encountered this? Any help would be appreciated!
