My manual says I can also use something called Live Update 6
Should I just ignore that and stick with usb update?
Well I don't know if I have a fat32 usb around so there might not be much to talk about until I order one

Solved thanks to @cursive hearth . He fixed this issue by updating the bios and changing VGA detection from auto to disabled.
