I have windows 10 system with my C drive 128 gb disk , problem is my C drive is getting in filled in no time [my constraint : i don't want to move my data out of C drive]
I know i can take a snapshot/clone my 128gb C drive to larger size disk and this would solve my problem
but this happens every few months and i don't want to do it every time, want to figure out a one time solution

I came across concept called " storage pool " where i can take a 2 or 3 physical disks and make a pool out of it and then create virtual disk on top of the pool and then creating a partition in that virtual disk, i tried this concept for my E drive and that is working fine where i can remove or attach my physical disks to storage pool on demand based on my usage

Unable to figure out a way for C drive [since it has windows and boot files]. looking for some direction here ,
facing some boot issues unable to find winload

a storage pool but you can rip out drives? I'm a bit confused..

How many drives do you have of what size, and what kind of RAID config (or how you wanna do it) were you thinking of?

I mean it's a virtual machine

Drives sizes is not a problem I have of all different sizes , I tested the storage pool concept on E drive with RAID 0 configuration , mostly thinking of the same configuration
