I recently recieved a DM from my friend. It is pasted below. I don't want to name him/her.

Penalty: £1678 (2023) An message you sent has been scanned and filtered by our technical robot and was flagged. Your account details are scheduled to be reported to the police. Our bot is currently in BETA testing; and has been known to make mistakes. If you believe this message was in error, reply "HELP" otherwise you will be contacted by your local authority in the next 24 hours. Reference: -insertinsultingmessagehere-

Is this true or is he/her trying to trick me? I am getting kinda worried rn.
Is this new bot real or is it a hoax my friend set up?

(notice the #0000 tag that no users or bots can get) and the more prominent 'system tag'

what has happened is your friends account has been compromised, whether that is through phishing, cookie steeling, databreaches or other methods

so it's probably just an attacker trying to scam people
