can't update windows

I have done everything I can think of but I can't get this to finish downloading

Now it will get to 61% and then It doesn't move

It is at 40% now

I think you should try to restart the Windows Update service, or try the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

1: Troubleshoot Windows Update
Search Troubleshoot Settings in Windows Search Bar, and hit enter. In the window that opens, select Additional troubleshooters,
then select Windows Update. Proceed with the troubleshoot, that might help. Then restart and see if it proceeds 61%.

2: Restart Windows Update Service:
Press Win+R and type services.msc and hit enter. in the window that opens, look through and search for Windows Update and Windows Update Medic Service, right click and restart both of them. Wait for a few minutes, then try if the update works.

3: If none works, then just wait it out...

I just downloaded window 10 update assistant

Using this it surpass 61%

Step 1 and 2 went without problems

Well step 3 went passed 61% but got stuck at 99%

Wait it out on that one, things usually tend to get stuck at 99% lol

It was stuck a 99% for more than 45 mins

Restart the update assistant I suppose

If that doesn't work, we can just download a uptodate windows setup and do an inplace upgrade.
