Don't know what people here would think about this but, I'd like to see the implementation of "Elimination" races. The idea of these involve "You start at the back of the pack, there's a timer that will eliminate you if you don't get a higher position in single player events". Not anything regarding online racing, just Single player events.
Event: Grand Race
Oh boy, where do I even start... This has to be one of the most frustrating ways to introduce online PvP racing in the game. There are no precautions for players who intentionally disrupt races, and then later we are told that this is not a competitive game. If that is true, then why introduce a ranking system at all? If the event is not meant to be competitive, the design choices are completely contradictory. You need to stick to one direction.
The problems do not stop there. New players struggle heavily in Grand Races because the loan vehicles they receive are so random that they sometimes end up with terrible options, which basically guarantees a loss.
The simplest solution would be to enable no collision in all races, seven days a week. On top of that, loan vehicles should be meta only, or alternatively, all players who have full access to their vehicle selection should also be restricted to one specific vehicle for the Grand Race. This would finally make the PvP environment fair.
And most importantly, if this event is not considered competitive, then please remove the RP deduction for losing races. It makes no sense to penalize players in an event that is supposedly not competitive.

Event: Demolition Royale
This is genuinely one of the best events in the game, but unfortunately it has almost no players. The reason is simple, there are no worthwhile rewards, so nobody has a reason to participate. Compared to Grand Race, Demolition Royale offers far less incentive, which is why the player count is so low.
Solution? One option is to merge the ranking and reward systems of Grand Race and Demolition Royale. Let players choose either mode and progress on the same ranking track. This would instantly boost the population of Demolition Royale. Another option is to create a separate ranking and reward system dedicated to this mode. Anything that gives players a reason to participate would help.
There is also so much potential within this genre. Demolition Derby in The Crew 2 used to be incredibly fun. Why? Because it took place in a compact stadium environment that felt more realistic and chaotic at the same time. One major issue in the current mode is that the attacker takes no damage. If this type of gameplay is meant to be destructive, both cars should receive damage. It would feel far more balanced and authentic.
Lastly, there was a PS1 game called Derby Destruction RAW, which introduced multiple demolition styles long before modern titles. It offered wrecking races, smash for cash events, and several battle modes like last man standing, team assault, arena battles, and even rooftop or skyscraper layouts. Implementing similar variations within Demolition Royale would add enormous depth and uniqueness to the event.
Right now the mode has great potential, but without rewards and without expanded gameplay variety, it is being overlooked. A few smart changes could easily make it one of the most played events in the game.
