It would add a nice final touch of customization for individuals cars instead of having to look at the game name all the time players could add a personal touch of course to avoid inappropriate language or whatnot some steps would be required but it would be fun to be able to put "jdm kg(king)" on your favorite Japanese car or "murica" on your favorite muscle car.

It would also be nice to have multiple license plate backgrounds to choose from like in NFS, and have them available as rewards in playlists or the main stage. (For example, by completing the Lambo playlist, you can get a "Lamborghini background" vanity plate with the Lambo emblem.)

extremely unlikely they would be able to manage a full NFS/Forza/GTA full custom plate system. best you would see is alternative color/design Motorfest plates, but it seems there's plenty of corporate/licensing red tape preventing even that from happening. there's certainly not a lack of demand for it, even the creative director has wanted to bring back changing plates but hasn't been able to.
