Make sure to save each side of the livery as a vinyl group, the game loves to delete liveries but saving them as groups will preserve them

It works the same as those, in tc2 I used to save the complete sides of my liveries just in case the game wouldn't load the complete livery file, in order to redo the livery instantly if that happened

Motorfest keeps deleting stuff and for multiple times a day, saving the liveries as groups is now a must if you ask me
