I played Wesley on turn 1 (with the +1 energy for going second). Discarded my hand, but no new cards were drawn. I thought that maybe I didnt have any Momentum cards. But as you can see from the screenshot, I do. Honestly not sure if it was going to draw any card that had the symbol (like Jadzia) or a card that was upgraded by Momentum (like T'Pol), but both were in my deck and neither were drawn from Weslye.

wesley's momentum ability is a scaling ability, based upon the amount of momentum you have. if you have lots of momentum, wesley draws lots of cards. if you have no momentum, he draws no cards.
momentum is typically gained by cycling cards that say something like: "cycle: gain >". if it's turn 1 and you haven't cycled away any cards, then you probably don't have any momentum.
Ok that was not at all how I read that card. And knowing that now, its still not clear that that is how the card is supposed to work. Certainly one that needs a rewrite IMO.
Maybe we should replace the Momentum symbol on the card with the current Momentum value.
So “Draw > cards” becomes “Draw 2 cards” when you have Momentum of 2.
We could use the Momentum color to indicate the source.
