Right now, this is the "other" Enterprise deck, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. I really like most of the blue cards in this list, who need a lot of momentum, but they can also build up momentum quite well. This is probably the best deck for building an early board, especially starting on turn 1. Christine Chapel especially is a hero in this deck, helping to keep all of the high-health characters alive for just a little too long. After the initial pressure, it slows down a bit though. Kyrk is very strong, but you do need to find enough cyclable characters. Hugh is also fine as something to get you to the better cards in this deck. And once you get there, the pressure returns with Sybok and Wyrf especially. Malcolm Reed hasn't impressed me much, but at least he's cyclable. And of course, this deck features the only real boardwipe in Crystalline Entity, and the only real way to draw a lot of cards in Wesley Crusher. Entity seems mediocre imo, but Wesley is probably very strong. He can turn those mediocre Grappling Hooks, and redundant Personal Deflector Shields into actual cards. Going -1 on that can often be fine, since the card quality often improves. I think the main downside with this deck is that the warp cards just aren't very impressive, but those don't seem like a big part of the game for the NX01. With this deck, I like cycling aggressively for momentum, which can be used well by a lot of characters. Not just Kyrk, who is obvious, but also Wesley, Wyrf, T'Pring and even Sulu to some extent. Then I like putting a lot of pressure, so that Sybok basically forces the opponent to spend 3 mana to sacrifice their own character, and eventually winning through consistent small attacks. So far, that has been quite doable.

I played some more NX-01 and it's growing on me. I think the buff to Wesley (giving him the ability to cycle for momentum) really smoothed it out. He felt like such a dead card unless you drew exactly what you needed with him.

And I've had some pretty good plays with the grappler now-- I still think it's a bit weak and really slow but the combo potential is fun. I had T'Pring using Swift to walk Khan like a dog while he slowly killed his ship through Sybok's ability. Can't sacrifice yourself if you're permastunned hah.
