Guidelines and First Steps:
- Please include your
se.logfile located at<Steamapps>/common/SpaceEngine/system/se.log.

- Are you on the latest version? Older versions of SpaceEngine are not supported. Check your Betas tab in Steam to make sure you are on the current version.
- Have you updated your graphics drivers recently? We only test against up-to-date drivers. Old drivers can cause a plethora of issues.
- Does your PC meet the system requirements? (Windows 10, Dual core Intel i3 3rd gen / AMD FX or better, 6 GB RAM, GeForce 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 460 (4 GB)).

This log file shows se loaded and closed normally. can you check the timestamps to make sure its an upto date log? you posted on the 5th the log is from the 3rd. "[MT] Start time: 2026.03.01 16:38:27.61"
Yeah, for some reason the log didn't record when I opened the game after March 1. I tried opening the game the same day I submitted the log, and I'd tried a few times before that, so it's a month of this problem where the log didn't record.
If your on the beta branch log file locations have changed. I have the bot show you the updated info below
Locate the SpaceEngine Directory:
Open the file explorer on your computer.
Navigate to the folder where your Steam games are installed. The default path is usually:
For Version 0.991.50.2125+ (Apr 2nd->) (beta branch)
log will be located @ %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Cosmographic\SpaceEngine\logs
For Version 0.991.49.2095 and prior (<-Apr 1st)
log will be located @ <Steam libray>\common\SpaceEngine\system\
If you have installed Steam or your games in a different directory, navigate to that directory instead.
Find the se.log File:
Inside the SpaceEngine folder, go to the system subfolder.
Look for the file named se.log.
It may appear as just "se" if you do not have windows set to show file extensions
Post the se.log File:
Right-click on the se.log file.
Select Copy from the context menu.
In Discord, right-click in the text input area and select Paste.
Click the Send button (or press Enter) to upload and send the log file.
My documents folder is completely empty, there is no Cosmographic folder. Sorry I can't find the new log, but hopefully the fact that it didn't create a log is a clue in and of itself. My issue also started before the new beta, so the log should've recorded it.
I don't think the problem involved me using the wrong folder for these reasons.
If your not on the beta branch it will be in <Steam libray>\common\SpaceEngine\system\
I'm having the same exact problem
I found a solution
Try entering through planetarium mode
works for me, had the same problem but when i want to go to the simulation(or whatever its called) the game crashes again, i wanted to try out the spaceships, and they dont work in planetarium mode
