@ebon bison Could you post a screenshot of the issue (taken with Ctrl+F11) and a copy of your se.log? you can find it in your SpaceEngine config folder

A screenshot with the issue and the name of a star could be useful to try and replicate this excess of brightness

@ebon bison I'm not able to replicate your issue, we'll have to search for something else.
First, I notice that you're probably using the quality settings at "Ultra".
I would use "High" to avoid some error due to memory lack in the long run.
Now there's a new update, is HIP 29378 specifically still causing that excess brightness?
Are all your addons up-to-date or have been updated after the new update?

Then please upload an updated version of your se.log, and I would ask you to completely and properly uninstall Reshade, as it still is a software in the middle designed to alter the ouput of other programs.
