#Need self-sustain advice as Prot

I'm tanking for the first time this season, and I'm loving Prot so far: taking steady, predictable damage instead of having my HP bounce up and down like crazy is the best. I'm at 3k rating so far!

However, I feel like Warrior has a much harder time "carrying" underperforming groups than let's say Paladin or DK. Even if your healer isn't very good, as those you can basically stay alive forever on your own if you use your resources and cooldowns correctly.

As Prot, I feel completely dependant on the healer to keep me alive. Impending Victory and health pots don't really cut it for me. Any suggestions on what to do when I'm put in a group with low dps and a bad healer?

Don’t turn your back to mobs. If you do make sure Shield wall is active. Shield wall and shield block are active for 8 seconds. So use shield wall as you charge to pull and then shield slam and thunder clap to build rage then keep using ignore pain to help mitigate. Then use impending victory to give a boost. Hopefully DPS can do the damage by then to get some mobs down. Just remember 8seconds. Kinda like bull riding 😂
