Help improving my Rage Generation / Spending, and overhaul over my last log

Hi there, recently we killed the 2 dragons on HC, and i was wondering how i am generating so little rage compared to the other warrior. Any tips, because from " what i understand " is that i am either standing still and doing nothing, or something else is wrong.

Dawg you have crazy uptime issues, you double press your thunderblast keybind...but you cant. theres a full gcd in between that you arent using. Also just general downtime where u dont hit any button.

This goes on many many many times throughout the fight

nothing special is happening, you're just kinda not hitting buttons

My guess is that you're trying to hit the small adds that spawn but they're out of melee range or whatever when you try to hit them so you only end up pressing thunderblast/clap or no button at all

ya its good to just kinda be main targeting the dragon and just aoe as many of em as you can to guarantee the clap > ramp > clap thing

assume most of the rage lost is from there

depends on your raid positioning but usually one of the 2 dragon's hitbox big enough to still be able to melee/attack it and aoe a big majority of the orbs with cds

what you mean with the a whole GCD in between, you mean when i press thunderblast, i try to click it again even though i dont have it, instead of pressing an ability i have?

in avatar you can go tblast > smth else > tclap > smth else > tclap > smth else because avatar reduces the cooldown of thunderclap

but you are doing tblast > nothing > tclap > nothing > tclap

so you are just standing afk

in CDs

alright, and outside of CDs? is there also GCDs that are not being used?

I mean yea you just go afk sometimes but thats most likely due to mechanics so i wont fault u for it

so im probably just shit atm, and hopefully it will get better

hmm, alright, like i said, thanks for all the tips, i appreciate them very much i do, so the things i should have in my mind, in CDs just press as much buttons as possible, dont buffer a ability if i dont have it, and outside of CDs just try to hit buttons all the time

idk what you mean by pressing buttons as much as possible in CDs. You should always hit your buttons intentionally and all the time, regardless of CDs

what i meant was, i was trying to spam the " same " button all the time, instead of waiting for the thunderblast proc

i was spamming it, even though i didnt have it

one more thing, is my stats chalked, should i try to get more haste, crit or something else?

you're deadass just pressing buttons that are on cooldown

you will likely make use of more versatility since you basically have no vers

but your stats are good enough

regarding stats, we arent playing classic wow, there is no perfect BIS list and no perfect stat prio or anything of that sort. This is retail wow, you sim your gear on raidbots.com and you use what it tells you to use

yeah i was doing that, i saw some people prio haste instead of mastery, and the other way around

if any warrior says "im prioritizing haste over mastery rn" then that's just dumb

if you randomly see more haste on a character, then its because thats simply the highest ilvl piece they have

and people dont rly want to re-enchant another champ track piece because it has better stats

I highly recommend practice on target dummies

you need all your button presses to be intentional and without gaps
