Need help to understand difference in damage

Hello, I was looking at a log to figure out some things and I noticed my damage is much lower than the guy I’m comparing with but I can’t figure out why. This is strictly regarding P1 of the fight, I am not looking at the entire fight at the moment. That’s a different can of worms.

Stats are nearly identical, casts are nearly identical. I have more antenna procs, slightly higher enrage time. One less bladestom and a small difference in the talents - I don’t have critical thinking but have 2 points of deft experience and taste for blood. Perhaps the difference in the off-hand item level?

Hard to really see but based on the log my my initial assumption would be either you didn’t prepot, or he had better crit rng

You’re looking at a compressed time so these things would have a high relative impact, as opposed to if you were looking at say, multiple kills over multiple weeks, or an entire fight

No pots on both of us, at least according to buffs. Additionally, if you take the slice of the phase WCL shows the crit % for both - for main abilities it's a slight difference 27 to 30-31. In reality, it's 10%-15% more crits than me, which is not negligible but not sure if it's enough alone to merit a 20% overalll damage bump

I’d suggest maximizing your gems to one of each color to take advantage of the crit.

Resim yourself with all gems removed and force 4 unique gems to activate the bonus.

Honestly? you clicked whirlwind 4x compared to his 1x, you clicked thunderous roar 2x for some reason, you had a bit less uptime

also why the fuck is ur offhand only 720 lol

your move shouldve been to craft offhand to 727 such that the mainhand upgrade to 730 only costs 15 crests
