Low DPS

Hi, so I'm trying to wrap my head around on why my DPS is so low.
I mostly hover around 2.5M/2.8M and I can't seem to figure it out on my own, so maybe some of you more experienced can have a look? It would be greatly appreciated.
Gear and spec are my cookie cutters atm.

TLDR: You are wasting 30% of your rage, and pressing the wrong buttons

At a high level you are just not pressing your buttons enough

You should not be pressing revenge almost ever as thane

You should be sending violent outburst procs on thunder blast and shield slam, this is a major source of damage loss.

Second most major is you are wasting a third of your rage, and you’re just not actually spending the rage you are getting, you have long periods of inactivity

Your are also playing the defensive push build, over execute build which will also cost you damage at your level

You are missing the mark on the basics here so I would highly recommend you review the wowhead guide in detail, specifically the rotation section

Once you do that, try to put that into play and then come back with a new log and we can reevaluate

Hey @still mesa, thank you so much for the feedback.
I'll have a look at the execute build and try it out.
Regarding Revenge, I try to press it when there's nothing else to cast basically and I don't need to mitigate any damage.
About Violent Outburst, I obviously need to keep tabs on that, so I'll try to look into it also.
Once again, appreciate the pointers and I'll come back with some improvements, hopefully.

Don't think of ignore pain as mitigation as much as rage expenditure as a vehicle to drive violent outbust procs

you will overcap IP constantly and that is ok, IP is also all global so you can press it while pressing other buttons

so revenge is really only used when you are in a scenario in which you cant press either shield slam, thunderclap, or execute
