@echo summit Checking the eco-dome the first thing I notice is that you have a very weird opener and spend pretty much 10 seconds with 0 overwhelmed stacks on the mobs which is really really bad especially in lust (see first picture below) and at about 25 seconds the tank already has everything stacked and has threat but you are still just pushing raging blow instead of using cds.
Once I see my tank has threat im making sure im sending avatar+reck and Rampaging for enrage then bladestorming instantly for overwhelmed stacks since we pretty much need 10 overwhelmed stacks to cleave as slayer now.
Also checking the replay you seem to not actually be cleaving mobs, you are targetting a mob not in the stack which isnt going to help you reap or raging blow multiple mobs.
you seem to have the 4 stacks of whirlwind thing down and how that is pretty much your highest prio ability in aoe is having whirlwind stacks up which is good, but you have a different issue in that you really are heavily prioritizing execute and rampage, raging blow is a significant amount of our aoe now since it procs reap, makes rampage stronger and just does good damage as well
another thing i noticed is that you sent a enrageless bladestorm (see second picture) which is REALLY bad, bladestorm is our heaviest hitting ability we can push, so missing 50%+ damage on bladestorm is a significant dps loss on mobs, you also pushed it at the end of a pull so it wasnt up for the next one, which is a even BIGGER dps loss because you go into next pull without overwhelmed stacks on the mobs meaning your tier set is esentially doing noting.
This is pretty much a carbon copy of the problems I found in https://discord.com/channels/148872210742771712/1416411676022149291
he suffers some of the same issues as you do
- Make sure you are enraged when going into bladestorm, its a spell that does a very good amount of damage and you will literally lose 50%+ damage if you arent enraged when casting it.
- Prio seems to be messed up a bit, for me top to bottom the prio is
A1 - Enrage
A2 - Whirlwind stacks (only refresh once you hit 0 or you are not in melee range)
A3 - Raging blow
A4 - 3 mfe execute
A5 - Rampage
A6 - Sudden Death execute
A7 -bloodthirst
A8 - Execute
A9 - Whirlwind if you cant push anything else (almost never happens)
some people might have different takes on the prio, it does change if you are at the start of a pack or not, if you are at the start of a pack you typically want to send a enraged bladestorm with reck if possible (overwhelmed stacks are extremely important now)
if you are at the end of a pack and you dont have cds up yet, you may want to prioritize MFE executes and rampages more for cooldown reduction for bladestorm and recklessness for the next pack so you can get overwhelmed stacks as fast as possible
if you are at the end of a pack and you have cds (mobs have 20% less hp, depends heavily on the pack and key level if it needs to die), you hold cds and do the normal prio i listed above
Thanks i gonna translate and read that , really thanks you verry much
also that 2nd picture I sent is by FAR the biggest issue, you sent bladestorm on a single 10% hp mob
no problem! hope this helps
But then, stupid question, how come I have much less trouble in Thane?
Thane isnt as reliant on cooldown management as slayer
after the first pull in your eco-dome you use slayer on 2 very low health mobs, which screws you for your next pull since you dont have a easy way of stacking the overwhelmed debuff on the enemies
But would it make me a loser if I stayed in Thane?
I wouldnt say its a loser thing to stay thane, both specs are pretty good and thane is much more new player friendly id say, but for me slayer is a lot more fun to play
slayer also does more dps in general id say, thane is tankier though
I especially notice that with my different disabilities, playing War Fury already exhausts me much more, and in Slayer it’s even worse — I feel like I have zero time to rest.
If you really like Thane play it, it's honestly really good just in a different way.
Ok ok thanks
i noticed as thane you run frenzied enrage instead of powerful enrage as well
frenzied enrage gives you 15% haste where as powerful enrage gives you 10% more damage while enraged, powerful enrage slows down the spec and is a dps gain for thane.
