First season tanking and playing warrior, so I'm sure there's a lot of things I need to work on. Played evoker previously, but only pushed M+ in The War Within.

Learning routes and tank responsibilities was a bit overwhelming at first, but got the general gist of it enough that now I'd like to clean up my rotation to maximize damage output, minimize damage taken, and increase the tempo for my run.

When I ran this priory 10, I had issues with threat early in pulls, which would sometimes cause me to run out of defensive buttons to press in longer pulls. Also imagine I need to get my Shield Block uptime higher.

Any critique is appreciated.

Stop pressing revenge so much.
Your priority is Thunder Blast > Shield Slam > TClap > Revenge. You only press Revenge if you have no Shield Slam and no Thunder Clap/Blast available. No other reason.

This will cause you to generate insane amounts of rage that get fed into IP. You cast IP anytime your next Shield Slam or TB/TC would make you overcap rage. The safe line is any time you're about to generate rage and you have 75+ rage already, you cast IP first.

I'd be willing to bet this fixes most of your issues.

There are a lot of nuanced issues you can also fix, but fix these first and then come back with those logs. I dont think its a good idea to go over sequencing and CD usage with you until you have the basic rotation down. For now just press Demo Shout/Roar/Shield Charge every time theyre off CD and try to Demo Shout before Roar or Shield Charge if possible.

This is more cast breakdown for my most recent Priory run at 4.8m DPS overall

Yeah. A ton of people had to relearn bc last season was a Colossus season, and you heavily favor Revenge as Colossus. No biggy, just a bit of retraining

I took a few runs to practice before this and got my 4pc, but here's a log to look over when you have time. Both DPS and survivability felt way better, but the DH pulled off of me a couple times. Not nearly as much of an issue as previously, and I noticed on one of them its because I hit revenge.

You are still pressing revenge entirely too much.

I can't stress this enough. You only press Revenge if you have nothing else to press. Your flow chart for pressing revenge is as follows:

Do you have ANY Offensive CDs available?
Is TB on CD?
Is SS on CD?
Is TC on CD?
Are you able to cast execute?

If the answer to any of those is "Yes" then you do that instead of casting Revenge

#

This is the very first casts into the very first pack. Your SS isnt on CD. Why are we casting revenge here?

Also, when you Demo Shout you want to follow it up (immediately, ideally) with Thunderous Roar and Shield Charge. Every time you can. Don't hold any of those CDs to line up with each other, but if they are all available hit them in that sequence as close to each other as possible.

#

You actually cast 3 revenges before a single Shield Slam came out in this Halls

#

Shield block and ignore pain uptime is also incredibly low. All that rage your dumping into revenge is supposed to go into IP and SB

#

For context, you're shooting for at minimum 80% blocked hits

#

You're 50/50

How did you filter out the blocked hits info? Damage Taken -> Melee?

Damage taken and then mouse over the bar for melees

Your SB uptime is around 60% and you want around 90%
