Hi, like in the title, i was searching throught the logs and found a lot of players having Ionizing strikes way higher than in 7th place. Is there a secret behind secondary stats? Thanks in advance!

#Prot Warrior - Ionizing Strike - Rising this skill higher in dmg labels

It's definitely the fact that you're not pressing much thunder blast over time, costing you more chances to proc ionizing strike. On a spec that's capable of hitting above 70 casts per minute in general, you're currently sitting at 51.5 casts; you're sitting on globals of Shield Slam and likely Thunder Clap/Blast in order to just slam more Revenge. Revenge is a lot lower value than Thunder Clap/Revenge for Thane, first because there's not as many modifiers, and second because Revenge doesn't interact with the hero talent tree in any meaningful way. Shield Slam gives you rage that you can cycle and can also give you a charge of Thunder Blast, and Thunder Blast is a stronger version of Thunder Clap that can also proc and give you three shield slams back to back. Those both constant flow back into each other, allowing you to generate a lot of rage that you cycle with Ignore Pain to reduce the cooldown on things like Avatar and Shield Wall
Shield Slam can fairly comfortably hit around 15 CPM or so over the course of an M+ run, and you're sitting at only 7.5 CPM, which is costing you procs of Thunder Blast, which also reduces your overall rage generation.
Your avatar uptime as a result of all of this is only at 43%, when it can push closer to 60% uptime; as Thane, Avatar lets you press Thunder Clap/Blast more often, both because the initial cast of Avatar gives you charges of Thunder Blast and because Avatar when running unstoppable force reduces Thunder Clap's CD to being able to be used every other GCD
Basically, your rotational priorities have been very skewed, costing you things that activate your procs
Like, as an example of this,
That's the damage breakdown for Revenge and Thunder Clap
You cast Revenge more than twice as much as Thunder Clap
and thunder clap still almost matched Revenge's damage output
❤️ thank you for lookin into this. Will try to adjust
