Hey guys, I last played in SL and have just returned. I'm not performing as well as I used to. I was under the impression we spam RB until we can't, then Rampage. I used Wowanalyzer to look at my logs from last night and it's saying I am wasting rage and not rampaging enough. Is it simply a matter of Rampaging more often above a certain point? Any advice appreciated.

You only spam RB after a bladestorm due to the combo of having:

  • Brutal finish (BS buffs next rampage by 50%)
  • Slaughtering strikes (each raging blow buffs the next rampage by 20%, can stack to 5)

This means that for example you would BS -> Raging blow until you either run out of charges or enrage -> Big chunky rampage. Aside from this special case just follow the rotation priority.
