Hi all,
I posted yesterday in #protection for help to figure out why I'm unable to tank higher than a +8 as prot. If it stinks everywhere, check the bottom of your shoe right?
Well, it was suggested that I install the logger and come back, so I'm back with a log. I can also get more logs if one isn't enough. Please let me know.

I tried extra hard today and was able to just barely time a +9, and it's my first time doing so. So it's a perfect time to ask for help. The first death was an error (letting shield block drop while running into a pack, causing mobs to hit me in the back). The second death was an intentional wipe. The third death was trying to take the flying bee to end boss with venom on me.
My season goal is to complete +10 on every dungeon, and I think if I could just get a little better it would be possible.
My questions are:
- How do I take less damage? I'm not standing in things that I know of, and I'm using my defensives and stuns. But I still took 1.4 billion damage, and it wasn't all mitigated.
- What can I do to improve myself so that I'm able to tank +10 on each dungeon? Especially if I'm overlooking something obvious.
- Is there anything I can do to better my rotation/abilities so that I'm maximizing my damage while still performing my role? It's not as simple as looking at a DPS sim and trying to get as close as I can.
