I just noticed that when I send Ravager, my Collateral buff gets consumed. What am I doing wrong?

I'm sure you already know but Collateral Damage is only used up by Cleave and Whirlwind. Ravager auto-casts Mortal Strike due to Unhinged, it does not auto-cast Cleave (would be kinda cool if it did, lol). Ravager also increases the damage of your cleaves and whirlwinds due to Merciless Bonegrinder.
The only way you could therefore consume your Collateral Damage buff is by simply having clicked Cleave or Whirlwind.
