#Is this worth mentioning?

This is the log of a raid I did yesterday with my fairly casual guild. I did a little prot warrior in S1 of WW but swapped to a DPS class because there wasn't room for tanks in the raid team I joined.
Anyway, I was looking through logs for something else and stumbled upon my raid lead's shield block uptime.

I'm not tryna stir up too much drama here, and I'm not aware of the current meta for warrior tanks, but he had, on all fights, sub 25% uptime on Shield Block, with most fights (except cauldron) coming in at just above 10%. He doesn't seem to be taking that much damage in raid, or at least isn't dying a whole lot so idk if it's worth mentioning just to help him out.

Is this weird? Or is this uptime normal?
This is cauldron specifically, with shield block highlighted

i mean they're absolutely phoning it in

They're barely pressing Shield Wall in most encounters, if at all

#

since it's the raid lead, that'd likely be problems traditionally

#

If they're phoning it in this hard and leading, usually that leads to ego problems if you try and bring up valid criticisms, since you have to actively be barely playing the game at this point

#

Realistically for blocking, all you need to survive is to have block up for blockable tank busters

#

It's nice to have it up while you're tanking the rest of the time, but damage is so low and predictable in raid, even on Mythic raid for the large majority of bosses, that you can very easily cruise through with minimal SB uptime as long as you press defensives when the buster comes

#

they're also trying to use storm bolt on bosses
