This was our kill on RIK in yesterday's farm. The three kills I have on this boss were from blue logs. I can't understand why this happens, considering that I'm busting barrels and using the correct CDs. It can only be a target error or an RNG error in barrel positioning, bad thunderous roar... Or maybe I don't know the fight well enough to understand what's going on... Anyway, please help me.
#how to get out of the blue log to something good?

Here you go big dog, https://wowanalyzer.com/report/CPzNw9mgd6LQrD8b/32/37
You missed 1-2 of your reck/bladestorm casts and missed 2 rampages
Okay, bro, in this specific fight, CDs are used for barrels. Wow analyzer doesn't have it, or if it does, I don't know of a filter for these situations. That's why it's going to say that I used one thing or another less because there are situations where we need to hold back to use it on the right team.
And if you care about your parse you can’t always hold your CDs for barrels. Some of the time your holding bladestorm which is a 30-40s CD for a minute or more. You can compare yourself to a better parsing fury on that fight and he did way more barrel damage than you and still got two more bladestorm casts over you. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/compare/jQmhLvGwZp28HKx6/CPzNw9mgd6LQrD8b?fight=34&type=damage-done&source=33%2C37&target=313%2C413 you can look at this guys log to see what he did differently
I'll analyze in more depth what this dog did to hit so much. Fury unfortunately depends on the RNG of barrel positioning and BS return. Anyway, I could be getting other things wrong too.
quick example
This guy's slayer strike had 4 more procs than mine. This doesn't explain the entire gap he gave but like I said, it's a quick example.
Rick should always have 2/3 barrels that spawn on top of each other. Tanks should be tanking boss near the clump and you should prio BT over RB in AoE
