Hello, i have a question about Prot Warrior when it comes to gear. On Wowhead it says i stack crit/haste as much as possible but do i not lose on surviability with that? If yes when do i need more vers/mastery and what to favor and how much. My Stats right now:
30% crit (16.500)
23% Haste(12.000)
25% mastery (6000)
8%Versatility (6000)

It’s Ilvl first and foremost, more stats is always better than good stats
If you have gear with more strength, equip it! You can min max your stats if you have pieces with the same ilvl
Rings and neck are the exception, since there is no primary on them
then whats best for neck and ring when for now? cause my neck is by far the worst with 632 ilvl and 4k vers 2 k crit
You can run cinderbrew to get the neck there, that will give you a lot of haste
But then again, it will also be an ilvl upgrade
Check what’s your lowest piece, and try to farm the best stated upgrade you can find
Can you give me a screenshot of what you have currently equipped with your highest ilvl gear (while keeping the set on ofc)
Haste and then any of the other stats is great
But other than that just farm item level
Haste is great because:
- more attacks = more rage
- more cooldown reduction / more uptime
also crit gives you parry 😉
versa can be around (or better) the value of crit, but this changes from season to season and patch to patch, also can vary on the difficulty content you play .. like rank 1 keys vs low keys
yeah but with 30% parry right now isnt it useless to stack even more cause you cant parry all atacks
mastery is class design wise always the lowest for years as protwarr
if you feel you have enough crit, then you can swap to vers - if you dont loose on ilvl or haste´
. and yeah as altherion said ilvl and good trinkets are most valueable and your playstyle.
