Struggling to find the seemingly obvious pointers of why im doing so low dps

Started playing warrior at the beginning of phase 2 coming from rogue. Tried to read up in the guides, got WA setup to track execute and BT i think i am not absolutely clueless on how this class is played but my dps says otherwise which leaves me baffled

Log comparison to another warrior, close in casts, ilvl etc. In that fight i think i had one amplifying break at 6:00.

What i am struggling to grasp is the amount of average damage per cast. It differs by a lot on every major ability. Am i just giga bad at cleaving, positioning on targets on top of worse add location RNG. Or maybe i am missing some really important ability or talent interaction.

I am also doing poorly on other mythic bosses and im unsure of what i am missing to get me over the edge to do a fucking normal amount of dps.

Just a few questions. Why are you running crit gems, legendary skipper citrine in your cyrce's circlet and why did you max out your bloodoath signets ilvl? Did you know that Katwar has 4000 more strength than you?

also, you're comparing two different kills. did you care to check the replay for their add spawn positions?

Rings and gems is apparently a miss on maintaining 2 sets as I mainly tank in m+

The skipper is in there as it was the suggestion in the guide. I’ll just have to sim more and better I guess

I didn’t notice the strength difference

And yeah I checked the replays a little but I was under the assumption that the difference in dps won’t come down to +1 targets in add cleave sometimes

rik reverb is a complete add-spawn rng fiesta

like yea sure you can argue rotational difference and whatnot, but if someones thunderous roar deals double your roar's damage, then there's only two potential reasons for that

yeah dont mind the crit sockets. for me they simmed also the best. depends on stats ^^ but the island ring you should resim.

• the fight has 2 rng parts: first you need to reduce via AA and proccs your CDs so they align with barrels! secondly dont get mechanics 😉
• your mate has 10% more enrage uptime. (can be fine depending on fight lengh)
• 50 more raging blows and 30% more bladestorm hits - so i guess he cleaves better the barrels, also 50% more dmg via roar
