What am I clearly doing wrong. Maybe Im missing something in my rotation?

So the first thing I'm doing is looking at wowanalyzer to get a general idea, and the thing that leaps out to me (looking at vexie for now) is that your execute phase seems to be the biggest rotational issue. It says 40% of the time you are not casting mortal strike with 2 stacks of exe precision. And 60% you're not casting execute when available. That's a lot of damage you're leaving on the table. Arms is usually (in my experience) middle of the pack to upper in damage then execute you make up a lot of damage. So in execute you get into the rhythm of hitting executes and then mortal strike. Rinse and repeat. You only break this to cast overpower with the opportunist buff as soon as it comes up (which it looks like you try to do) or if you don't have the rage to keep the rhythm then you cast overpower for rage and back to the rhythm again. Id say focus on that in your next raid night. I'll look over the other fights omw home from work and see if anything else jumps out at me.

So I've had a quick look at your other fights. On rik, you'll see you parsed well. You had high Uptime and your execute phase was substantially better. On sprocket you had a LOT of downtime, and your execute phase was off again. Those two fights have wildly different parses.

I personally have a weakaura flash EXECUTE as soon as the boss hits 35% and the moment i see it, I know that I need to change my rotation to the execute priority
To summarise execute rotation.
- Overpower with the opportunist buff
- mortal strike with two stacks of the executioners precision buff
- execute
- overpower for filler
In general this will look something like
Exe > exe > OP > MS > Exe > exe > MS > Exe > OP > exe > MS........
The OP is ONLY when you have opportunist buff.

Ive been going off of wow analyser to keep my rotation straight. That robot says using opportunist procs comes first.
I think it smooths out the rotation and keeps you in the rhythm for longer
