hey everyone I'm quite new to warrior and arms in general. my current issues as far as i can tell is uptime. are there some general tips anyone could give me on how to improve uptime ? my dmg feels great as long as i can stay on target but i feel like overall im mostly slowed and kited. cant record atm but will add my low rated cringe gameplay as soon as i can get it to work 😛

2 big things i can toss ur way is hamstring on first global, and don't trade ur charge and leap . i know it may sound wrong, but if u walk to your opponent target twice, you will have the mobility advantage. Also remember that while moving to your target, continue to put pressure/build resources on targets around you.

so i guess then im overusing charge and then it puts me in a shitty spot without charge charges.

and would you say the ms gem is worth it ?

Hi I'm having similar issues, if I "walk" to them initially.. won't they just walk away faster? And stay out of hamstring range?

Stay on your mount until you connect the first time if you can. Walk short distances and use your stun / piercing howl to close gaps from time to time. Don't chase mages when alter time is up unless your teammates can purge. Using avatar to break roots/slows is very acceptable behavior, bladestorm if you're not slayer. Spell reflecting when a magic using class wants to slow you can give a little more uptime.
Sometimes in a BG setting where you know which direction the enemy wants to go, it's okay to run with them from the front side of their character rather than the back. Staying as close as you can in their hitbox can frequently help too, it can be the difference of being in charge range or not when they blink/disengage/port/etc sometimes

Rest comes down to predicting / dodging cc every now and then, via circling the player so they miss their frontal (dragons breath etc), reflecting at the right time to reflect a cc (hoj, mortal coil, trap etc), or straight immuning something with bladestorm
