#Help me improve at fury arenas

This is like a peer review because I'm not good but from my view. You sat on storm bolt/shock for a long time at the start. You disarmed the DH as opposed to rogue. You missed a solid kick opportunity on the cyclone. You feared DH/ Rogue to then zug rogue as opposed to fearing healer. These are all the mistakes I make and I think /played is the only fix.
Should try to intervene before you charge in if you're ever against a rogue
It feels hopeless when we say rogue is kill target and he just dissapears all the fucking time i cannot get uptime on him
And yea the second rogue appears he gets shock waved
Shockwave if he's with melee storm bolt otherwise
Rogues at your level are trinketing instantly
Then fear and you just fucked his opener
sub rogue is not a good kill target if he knows what he's doing
So just from watching the first round I’d say the 3 biggest improvements you can make are watching DRs (your bolts are DRd), don’t disarm the dh, disarm rogues CDs and you spend a little too much time waiting to go rogue without hitting anything.
ur honestly solid bro, 1.8k definitively achievable but idk if thats your goal
but what everyone else said in here is also true
You had a good opportunity to fear Druid there when your team was okay but you used it on the dps and it broke instantly because you were cleaving them anyway. So watch for better fear opportunities as well
(I only had a minute to watch round 1 while @ work)
Always be hitting something dh can lose half his hp while you're baiting rogue back in
@frank minnow rogue prob worst kt on that team
I’d prob go dh and then swap rdruid when he’s dotted up
Oops
@terse ravine
i see, ill prolly have to just learn that from playing all comps
What is my role in these arenas? someone said im not supposed to be top dps so what am i doing there? I dont have much cc either
At the moment rogue especially sub is really hard to kill, not always the case historically though
Your role is to always be doing dmg to something
Don’t overextend
And try and peel
So when rogue comes out of stealth, disarm, storm bolt, fear etc
What if its assa rogue?
And then I’d wait for Druid to overextend and swap him in a storm bolt, do that twice and it’s prob gg
Same thing
Assa does a bit easier but idk if I would still prio then
Dies*
@terse ravine ok so I see the rogue dies but I promise good ones won’t die that easily. When he has that purple dagger by his head that means shadow blades so I would instantly storm bolt that, then disarm when he trinkets. 30 seconds later or so you shockwave into a storm bolt which is DRing your bolt, I wouldn’t advise that, and then the Druid is casting clones in both of your faces sometimes triple DR, I would either swap him and make him go back to pillar or swap for a kill or at the least kick/bolt fear
I agree but wanted something more constructive than "wtf are you hitting rogue for" lol
Just watching the first round because I am lazy, random fears, no usage of stuns or intervene as peel tools, not using any offensive CDs for 30s is bad, you have so many double shockwaves during cooldowns that you aint using, first intervene comes out one minuet into the game, leaping to nowhere during smokebomb even though you were completely fine, not tracking stun DR, your own or the enemies.
there ya go, some stuff to work on
Generally vs Rogue/Dh or just comps that have a lot of set up to kill I wouldn't blow fear on CC on a healer if you can't guarantee a kill
You need to learn how to use intervene because it can save a lot of cooldowns by your healer including trinket in the openers
Don't be afraid to just go in versus rogue, actually versus mostly everything, particularly rogue. Get in combat, disrupt a bit
Track DRs, learn how to use cooldowns efficiently, don't be scared to pop cooldowns and stuns
In solo shuffle you are most rewarded by going fast and popping stuff fast
