So pretty much fresh 60 w/ two axes go for devilsaur, soon as I mix and match weps use edgemasters + devilsaur legs
exactly
that's what I'm doing now, except I still need to get my edgemasters lol
and I'm seeing a lot of glancing blows in the meantime which sucks 😛
😛
what yall do to make gold as wars anyways?
I'm Herb & Alch w/ 210 Fishing and 260 Cooking
Call me the jack of all trades.
I mine in southern Winterspring and farm demons with my brother on his priest for eye of shadow and other world epic drops.
swords/daggers are literal trash drops in mc
compared to rare af DB
so you didnt fuck up at all with edgies
Good to know 🙏
thanks man, that makes me feel a lot better too 🙂
we keep getting daggers
seen 2 brutality blades drop
i don't have anything, my shamans guilds team 2 got db tonight though
1 mageblade 1 dom 0 rag wep :omegape
mageblade last night, we had insane drops. sadly the dps/tank got qsr, we have some really poor itemized wars in this raid. Either over hit or under hit, 300 weapon skill set ups etc.
I’m at +7 hit and orc with axe, so I’m over hit by 1. But I’ve got 35.15% crit chance with 818 AP unbuffed. My OCD hates it I’m over hit by 1 but I ant get rid of another hit gear for more crit right now.
It’s classic. You’re stressing over numbers too much. Have fun.
also extra hit isnt a dead stat, unless you are perfect with HS cancelling
Idk classic got very boring very quick, such braindead encounters. I think it's good to care about stats and what gear pieces you use so that you stimulate your brain a little bit at least
Just enjoy the game however you like to play it 🙂
yeah got my full pre-bis now + raggy crown
and mount tommoro
anything good for you ?
nice, is that a good one ? 😄
Im kinda saving DKP for BRE
the only "thinking" that goes on in classic is optimizing gear, so anyone saying you should just roll with what you get is not being realistic to what everyone is experiencing. At this point our guild has been running 4 20 man Ony groups each week for about 4 weeks and a vast majority of us have already gotten 90-95% of their BIS items. This has led to a ton of free time on people's hands and all people can do to keep themselves entertained is create guild drama or look to optimize as best they can. I for one have been farming SFK for my lvl 19 rogue twinks weapons 😛
that grind is real lol
Im farming hp gear for pvp set now
Almost at 4k unbuffed
Anyone leveling Horde rn? I have a warrior I'm streaming and need people I can meet and maybe stream some early leveling with
Choice between farming HoJ and Sacred Charge to go with my Tribal Guardian, which should I prioritize?
Current weapons are MH Thrash Blade and OH Mirahs Song
Current trinkets are Mark of the chosen and Blackhand
HoJ
Noob question on hamstring specc: Do I still use bloodthirst and whirlwind on cd and use my hamstring as a filler? Couldnt find an indepth guide for it
Yes, you are on the right track @foggy basin
And does hamstring also reset my autoswing?
Ok thanks so far :D
Have 7% hit + human racial using swords. Couple of pieces I need with more hit (UBRS shoulders, etc). Would I keep adding hit or stay at 7 and focus on crit/AP?
I’m in the same boat actually. Last night I went into MC with only 7% hit and using Deathbringer (MH) and Perditions Blade (OH), and still did about 600-700 dps and just destroyed everyone else on the meters. While I’m a human and SHOULD be using swords, I’m not really feeling the hurt using an Axe and Dagger with no Edgemasters. The glancing blows are between 17%-24% depending on the fight, but I’m not sure how to calculate what the damage difference would be if I picked up Edgies and dropped my Flameguard Guantlets.
I’m keeping my Flameguards. I’d add more hit from gear now if I had to go axes.
@split heart if ~20% of your hits are glancing with 0 weapon skill, then with 5 weaponskill those hits would deal 20% more damage, and you'd need 6% hit instead of 9%
Yes, but is it worth dropping 1% crit and 54 AP?
well with a log, you could calculate it, but probably yes
opinions on core hound tooth for fury warrior with edgemasters?
It’s a great OH opinion because it’s faster than most weapons so it provides the rage you need and it has great stats
Hello guys,
I've just looted edgemaster's handguards and I was wandering if I should keep it or sell it because I'm a human and I heard it could be a little bit overkill with the racial ?
sell
Ye, sell them
You will just be made fun of if you use them
It will almost give you an epic mount
yeah ok, thanks a lot 🙂
ony my server its epic mount exactly
altho getting it without grinding for it must be boring af
They are listed 800 on my server but you are stupid to pay that. I just bought mine for 400
If you can get 800 on yours that’s great
@split heart just get edgies.
Like you are being obstinate about it. Open your my mind and realize your potential. I had tf and r14, and I killed the damage in van but held off on edgemasters because I was stubborn.
Missing out on what you really could have done.
I even had aq aggro reduction trink. We had a great tank. I could have put out more and not ripped aggro too.
No tank can hold aggro now that I raid with but they aren’t even close to as good as the tanks we had.
WTB tanks that stop following shit YouTube advice.
I’m working towards them @summer stratus . I’ll be sure to let you know how it’s improved my performance once I test them out.
Right on. It’ll be worth it.
Heya guys. Wanted to consult theorycrafters here. I really struggle with deciding on what offhand to use for standard fury build - tauren with edgemasters. Like i always thought you want to have a fast weapon for rage gen in offhand but most of the guides out there have brutatality blade as bis but with 2.5 speed that sounds like bullshit when you have 1.7 and 1.8 weps like felstriker and perdition. Your thoughts?
If you put 1.5 wep for oh than vs 3.0 wep you should hit twice as fast with the oh. So i guess the question is will this rage be worth more than the danage you get from abilities that are using the oh?
Howcome? More hits should be more rage from unbridled wrath and more crits for frenzy
Ahh yes, that sweet very smol amount of rage from UBW
in return for an OH that eats flurry stacks faster
Look for the stats on the OH
not the speed
Wristguards of stability or berseker bracers from wsg exalted are bis for warriors which of them is better ?
Whats the optimal hit rating for 2H in PVE?
Do you get + 5 from human/orc racials?
How worth is the devilsaur set for DPS warriors? I can get it for around 100g
Its bis for human/orc
If anyones looking for a Fury warrior Weak Aura i made this one https://wago.io/ExxFqT3qU
Is devilsaurs BIS if you dont have the extra skill being UD
does anyone have swifty's prot pvp build
you can just get the dmw pants instead of devilsaurs
if you are ud
that's what i did
Just lucked out and got the Runeblade off the Baron (am human). Have been using sword of zeal and dal rend OH. Assuming I should go spam spec now? Or stick with DW?
Stick with DW for raids
does +skill to swords work for both 1hand and 2hand?
If it says it does, then yes
For dual wield with 305 weapon skill, do I also only need 6% hit for cap ? or is it higher? On private server it seems to be 15-18% but on classic servers i cant find anywhere that says i need more than 6% with 305 weapon skill
do you have those stats yet? could just equip what you think it to be and see if you miss
@meager lark ignore anything from a private server. You’ll be fine at 6 though will obviously miss with the Oh. If your best gear has more hit, use it.
Thank you very much 🙂
Is 3 set BDS better than TS/Devilsaure
jus wanted to show what a warrior witha dog shit main-hand and 15/17 dungeon/crafted gear can do on a typical fight.
couldhave done 500+ if i didnt run out of r.o.i.d.s and juju power.
soooo... a prebis warrior with 2 pieces of raid gear
is what you meant to say
also you recked
:risitas:
no sunder first global either
smh
dog shit main-hand
if you think rivenspike is bad
idk
lul
hello is there a weakaura for the BRE proc?
You could probably easily make one if not one out there
deep prot like fast/med/slow 1 hander?
he also had a tank that knows how to use mocking blow for execute......
my dps is always limited by either not wanting to get shit by ripping aggro, or by ripping aggro and getting spanked by a boss. Had a war beat me on onyxia which is rare, a fight i do barely over 200 dps from doing nothing so long. He was going as hard as he could from the very start while i'm still auto attacking. And then they praised him even though he ripped aggro on ony which is a big no no, about turned into a wipe, other warrior ripped after him. Sadly I had to hold way back because they let the druid die that would have let me actually execute.
anyone know the radius for garr's adds knockback? range 10?
is that you
deathbringer and vis'kag or deathbringer and core hound tooth
prolly CHT with +dagger gloves
i have edgemasters
well then
prolly CHT still because its faster and has stats on it
but DB+ viskag will make ppl salty
Salty why?
rogueboys want that viskag
ah yeh indeed
and you would be offhanding it lol
CHT for sure
brutality blade should be slightly better but its really a difference of 20 AP vs 9 str and 9 agility
hey guys, i have dilemma. Should i stick with my Demonshear and hope for something to drop from MC or should i invest in Arcanite Reaper asap ? My guild clears MC everyweek but i need something good for BGs
striker's mark or blastershotlauncher if i dont need hit for dps fury warrior ? cuz some people sayin i should take striker mark even if i have my hit cap what you guys think ?
Id take striker if you pvp
@open bane starting dec 13th i dont expect you to post any more messages in here. 🙂
Does it make any difference when I as a tauren am wielding a weapon with +8 weapon skill in contrast to an orc wielding an axe which gives him +5 weapon skill in terms of the needed percentage in hit (which should be 6 iirc)
Ye I was talking about a raid environment :D Ty Keladan
whats going rate for flurry axe rn?
600g
just came back to the game what specc do people got for raiding at 60 ?
17/34 dual wield fury is prefered as dps or 11/5/35 deep prot as tank
i think 308 is the cap for weapon skill to reduce glancing blow penalty
so no difference on hit cap but there is still a difference
the glance cap is 10, but the difference between 8 and 10 is like 0.16%
you only need 5 skill
Greetings everyone, can anyone point me in the direction of a good comparison between https://classic.wowhead.com/item=18348/quelserrar vs https://classic.wowhead.com/item=18203/eskhandars-right-claw for Protection Warriors (Tauren/Orc)?
This epic one-handed sword has an item level of 71. Requires Warrior or Paladin. It is a quest reward from The Forging of Quel'Serrar. Always up to date.
We never get any items with +unarmed skill iirc, so you will do more glancing blows with eshk
I’m really puzzled how Flurry Axe sims higher than legit every Oh
Makes your big slow mh hit more often. It’s simple.
Hitting exalted in warsong isn’t that bad is it?
Can’t you get it done pretty easy?
is there any information about the various debuff values as far as what can knock off what when it comes to the 16 debuff limit
exalted in wsg is pretty bad unless thigns are different in classic, it was hard on my server in vanilla to get consistent wsg games
ab and av exalted weren't so bad
What is the crit cap for DW fury? is there one
hitting exalted in WSG means you hit r12/r13 atleast
takes months
271 wins to hit exalted from neutral
was easy with those tokens you turned in
hey guys, i need some help. is there any cap on crit in classic?
talking fury warrior here
i mean any form of cap be it soft or hard cap
e.g. if there is a crit value that'd allow 100% flurry uptime theoritcally that'd be a softcap, right?
16% for melee
FC owns
Execute phase in classic just spam execute?
Depends on if DW or 2hand fury.
I have Obsidian Edged Blade and Deathbringer now. Should I use OEB for arms pvp and Deathbringer for fury PVE? Or should I try a slam fury build for pve with OEB?
I don't have a great offhand for Deathbringer. Serathil is probably my best. Also I play nelf and I have the +7 weapon gloves for one-handers.
use that deathbringer in pve
you could use mirahs in oh
or just about any sword axe or dagger
I like 2handers so I’d suggest 2hand slam until you have a good oH. Mirahs song is a solid contender.
you're alliance, 2h slam is not better regardless of OH with DB
DB w/ mirah's, flurry axe, etc
Hey guys how do yous make gold as a warrior solo
WPL cave for GNPP recipe and thorium veins.
EPL vales for GSPP recipe and thorium veins or plague bloom, mountain silversage and lotus.
DME Jump runs for herbs, thorium veins, EoW, Foror's
Winterspring furbolgs for Eko's and Firewater
Felwood furbolgs for herbs, vendor trash and runecloth with opportunity to check whipper roots etc
Strat living for Orbs
Spamming any dungeon, really - the vendor trash adds upp quickly
I'd avoid open world grinding personally but it could be considered a bonus for some to gain some honor.
thanks @distant saffron for the help 🙂
i was wondering.. pretty much all the bis lists and guides treat dualwield fury and 2hand fury equally. can anyone tell me what might be indicating factors when the one is better than the other though?
When youre horde
yes?
windfury benefits 2h a decent amount so being horde matters
ok so the rule would be "if you're horde and can get your hands on a decent 2hand, go for 2hand". but still there are alot of really good dualwield fury dps on e.g. wow logs. you'd say they'd do more dps wearing 2hand?
point being i'd currently need to tell my classlead in advance what gear im looking for and currently really dont need what to tell him when it comes to that
i read somewhere that once 1hand weapons are "strong enough" dualwield surpasses 2hand but then again, im missing the determining factors when that's the case
DW has higher potential for DPS, and is easier to play
if you are going for BiS lists, then go for DW
2h is fine if you run into a strong weapon and want to give it a shot, you'll still be competitive
there's not much competition for 2h weapons in a raid, so even if you tell your class lead you are going for DW
you might end up getting a 2h by default
that was, what i was thinking. if its competitive i'd opt for 2hand just because it's more realistic to get a decent 2hand rather than compete with literally every warrior within in raid for whatever 1hand may drop
also a good point
and afaik the gear should be the same otherwise, so no adjustments to make correct?
yeah, there's probably some minor optimizations like stacking more AP vs agi or something
but i'm not a theorycrafter
the hit and weaponskill caps are still the same
yeah i was thinking going for the 2hand with weaponskill-build-in to save some money early on
what race are you
ouch yeah
you're going to need to find edgemasters or find the cash pretty soon if you want to be optimized
you'll need extra hit rating in the mean time
but the sword im talking about has the necessary +5 doesnt it?
even 8 if i remember correctly
sure, but i dont think that sword is on any bis lists
well yeah i saw it somewhere but you're right
best thing about that sword is, it probably wont count towards any "oh well you got that item! remember"-list, so it's kind of for free you know? ^^
yeah, its a good placeholder until you get edgemasters
and once i do i'd probably go for swords as there's no need to take axes from orcs
How good is the OEB? Human. Have Runeblade now and it seems to be a marginal upgrade. Worth it or wait for BRE?
R U N E B L A D E ?????
Vurtne is the GOAT
lucky bastard
Yes. It’s fun. Wondering now what the most practical upgrades are. Either 2hander or DW.
For pvp none 😄
It’s pretty good for warrior as well. I get about 55 hp/5 with a 283 +heal set in the bank
And it looks so oddly detailed compared to a lot of the gear lol
I read somewhere about a snapshotting +healing
stack a bunch of it for the sword and it will heal for gobs and gobs
Yeah
Yes. At +283 healing, I get about 55 hp/5. Hoping to stack some more ahead of the bgs next week.
And the best part is you can equip your regular gear afterward. Still get aura as long as you don’t unequip
this post from reddit seemed to say you could go much.. much higher
"Apparently the healing scales 1:1 with +healing. And that ticks every 5 seconds. So if you're wearing your full healing gear in a battleground you'll have like +600 healing. Meaning you self heal for 600 health every 5 seconds!"
You need the healing gear having been equipped. I have about 290 now and seeing about 60 hp/5 now.
so they nerfed it then
cuz theres a video of a guy doing 600/5secs on classic with it
He had like 800+ healing. I think it scales linearly. I recommend getting the sword though.
edgemasters works for 1hand and 2hand, right?
so +7 to 1handed swords and 2handed swords
e.g.
ok, seems like only 1hand. so that's a good reason why dualwield is the better option then 😉
@cobalt talon either 2hand or DW.
you sure @prisma meteor ?
can you equip and screenshot the weaponskill sheet? dont have them at hand
EMH do not work for 2H
thanks again @distant saffron
That druid pic is cursed
what is the crit cap boys for classic boys
just make a plus healing set as warr.
swap it w/ 2h
put on pvp gear
Aura maintains +healing effects unless you swap runeblade.
suddenly you have uber regenning warrior w/ runeblade.
I’m getting about 55 hp/5 right now with the Runeblade and about 290 + heal gear being equipped. Not enough to make or break it during combat but I rarely need to eat or bandage.
anyone got a BIs list for warrior pvp in classic?
yeah 5% hit and plate with the most stam
something like that aka be a guild leader and ninja all the loot
ccurrent bis is 6set r13, ony neck, accuria, QSR, Esk cloak, BRE
why the accuria and 6set ? then you have to chain
Way too many stats on r12 gloves
also everyone and their dad has warrior t1 on, so ur gonna miss a littlwe
and by ony neck I mean collar, not pendant
need those bracers
wouldn't might shoulders be better?
they didn't even list speed enchant for boots
you can put w/e on boot enchant. enemy should be perma hamstringed anyway so i dont see a point in speed vs spurs
not really, theres 3 states - mage slowed/rooted or sticking to a guy with hamstring. 8% aint gonna help from those first 2
how exactly is 8% gonna help you connect when youre -50% snared ?
:risitas:

I mean I just think it may help in rare cases where you can just barely get in intercept or charge range you know
might as well
Yeah but spurs give you advantage on ppl running away from you. Or when you need to run yourself
8% speed is crucial for pve or pvp.
Dwarf warrior with edgemaster's and DB main hand. currently using mirah's oh. What's my bis oh? another DB? CHT? flurry axe? ty for any help
So I just made 3 piece black dragon scale gear for my warrior and it only gives like 20 extra AP compared too eye of rend true strike and devilsaure leggings. Did I just make a 160 gold mistake or is it worth it?
I made the boots legs and shoulders
Swaped out eye of rend for mask if the unforgiving to the 2% hit
@misty bolt Just... have 2 sets of boots?
Got a vis’kag for main hand and I’m debating if I should buy a flurry axe or wait for deathbringer. Thoughts ? Currently have oh dal rend or bone slicing hatchet for oh
Flurray axey
We got a warr with 2 dbs. I got mad when he got it
Cuz he is pretty bad
So worth to cop ?
Only issue I have is would it be a waste of gold if deathbringer or brut blade drops next week
Deathbringer would be priority to me I think
Brut blade maybe not but high priority
Basically if it drops I’ll prolly get em either one
What is hit worth after cap for dual wielding? Read 1 hit after cap = 10-14 ap. But i hear different things from different people. If anyone could link proof that would be great
its not worth alot
It’s like 4 ap
best leveling spec ?
Anyone got a link to any research regarding attack speed vs 8str libram enchants for human warriors?
attack speed is good if your flurry up time is really high from world buffs, but prob only good on single target but even then only minimally better. 8 str is better for almost everything
8 str stacks with Kings if on Alliance.
Someone can help me out how do i time my SLAM on 2 handed fury? a friend told me to look up for an macro but i got no clue what it is
does cloudkeepers leg plates buff stack with blessing of might?
Use weapon swing timer addon or something like it. Macro is:
#showtooltip Slam
/stopattack
/cast Slam
/startattack
You want to use it with 1.5 seconds on timer. There are also some WAs you can use
@deft pendant 8 str will be better in almost all cases practically. How good 1% haste vs 8 str also depends on fight duration too much which is way to volatile and won't remain constant. 8 str is also better for cleave which in MC means all the bosses and trash. If you happen to pvp with your enchanted item 1 haste does nothing and for any non-raid boss content 8 str will also be better. If alliance the 8 str will scale with Kings. Even if it short term is expensive you probably aren't swapping head for a long time (LH) or legs (devilsaur/ckl/bds)
@prisma meteor do you have another macro and timer similar that helps perfect the heroic strike weaving?
No. I rarely use HS with the 2hander. Just been using the slam macro with weapon swing timer and a weak aura specifically and only for that.
ah. i havent really gotten into practicing the heroic strike weaving but i want to now. downloaded a weapon swing timer, assuming that will help?
HS causes too much threat and not enough rage with a 2hander. If I get DW swords from ony/mc, I’ll look into it then
i see the macro on fight club for doing it, but no instruction
HS weaving as in cancelling so you benefit from the hit bug?
yes
what are you confused about,
the general idea is when dual wielding you queue up HS and cancel it before your next swing so your offhand benefits from the bug
the confusing part is getting the timing right
do you have a swing timer
okay, so right after a swing, hit HS then before the timer completes, cancel
thank you
and in the case of using the macro on fight club, just press the button after a swing.
i guess, not sure what the macro does
#showtooltip Heroic Strike
/startattack
/cast Heroic Strike
/stopcasting
that is the macro they have pinned for doing this
yes, you could use that. or you could also press 'esc' key. whatever floats your boat
main thing is cancelling before your timer goes off
it's not that difficult if you have a timer
does the macro cast and cancel in one press? or do you press it twice
it looks like one press, but i havent tried it
try it first
cast once to que HS. press again for cancel
Pog
I really wonder why they changed sweeping strikes several times
no
Is Frostbite replacing Axe of the Deep Woods for pre-raid now that AV is out?
or is the proc on ADW that strong?
frostbite is better yea
Hey how do you fury warriors make money in this game? Oo
Woah ok thats huge
used it all for crafting epics tho 😄 if you mine those in DM:E jump runs thats extra gold too
am i at that big of a disadvantage being a fury dwarf instead of human. i heard the +5 skill adds about 3% damage increase
when using maces and swords
it's more than that
you can use edgemasters permanently though
but if you want to be a top dps you go human or orc. I beat everyone in my guild in dps as tauren with edgemasters, but I am definitely at a disadvantage in a top tier guild, and will never reach the potential I would have had as an orc.
i see well i'm willing to make that sacrifice simply because i like being a dwarf, and have no aspiration to be top tier raider.
do orcs ned 6% or 9% when using 2-handed axes
Need
or does it only apply for 1h axes needing 6%
6%
Yeah it's pretty nice, just got spinal on my orc shaman, 3% from talents, so only need 3% hit from gear, and for a shaman it pumps hard. Nothing like what a war can do though, but bigger wf strings in pvp
can anyone explain this fight clubs best in slot?
main page says BIS dual wield for orc is deathbringer x2
you click on rank 10 gear or no rank gear and then it says deathbringer and a frostbite
What is the BIS weapons to dual wield, as a tauren using edgemasters
yeh will have a look
just the fight club page makes no sense
its saying deathbringer and frostbite
where spreadsheet says deathbringer x2 for orc
That spread sheet is flawed in many ways. Over values hit. Under values slam. Etc
not sure what you are looking at saying db frostbie is best
just noticed this example was updated. https://sixtyupgrades.com/set/iT9o45bbFBoKhA3UpHxTAa
and uses the weapons I suggested
but as a non orc, pretty obvious there's a lot of options better than frostbite
For orcs the bis example https://sixtyupgrades.com/set/fUNfDos8TWJdFYohC38fhi has frostbite in off hand, but it is just an example, and is much more realistic than double db
cheers appreciated
you guys know the bs asmongold has where there's text that pops up for overpower and execute? I like how that looks but can't replicate it, what addon is that done with? is there a weak aura string for it or what
I see, thanks
anyone know the dungeon lvling discord
Anyone here use obe with 2h fury?
you can use it as horde, implement the slam macro, and do ok
Or alliance if you go 4/5 imp slam
non-orc what's a bigger upgrade, edgemasters or lionheart helm?
I wanted to provide you all with an update on my warrior. Since last posting, I've been able to obtain a pair of edgies and my second Deathbringer. I'm rocking 7% hit (10% with Edgies), have basically all BIS gear at this point minus a neck, back, bracers and 1 ring. I just finished MC last night and swapped between bosses from using double Deathbringer to useing DB in the MH and Perditions Blade in the OH. I found that in every fight I had PB equipped in my OH, I did more damage. I understand that a few people had made the argument that a fast OH would eat up flurry procs and wouldn't provide enough additional rage generation to make up for it. I didn't find that to be the case at all. I felt that deathbringer is FAR too slow to duel wield and that the majority of the extra damage I had using PB was due to increased damage from execute specifically as it allows me to generate enough extra rage during the last 20% to get 1-2 additional hits off. I'm still going to test the combinations throughout the coming weeks but wanted to share my initial findings.
it is known that faster attacks result in larger damage during execute period. DPR of execute is higher for low rage executs. Fast weapons get you more low rage executes.
Rabite edgemasters typically are first and foremost. I went lionheart first but was two handed at the time until I got edgemasters went dw.
Does anyone know of any resources on Dual-wielding PvP in Classic? I've been looking all over and I feel like it's 2H or bust.
Unless you have naxx gear
I get that, but I don't see much backing it up. I'm not disagreeing with you though. I'm just saying that the best answer I'm getting out there is "it sucks dick and balls" nothing actually talking about what COULD make it possible and why Naxx gear gives it a chance.
Cuz naxx has brutal weps
because you want mortal strike and many arms talents benefit 2h, also dw relies on being able to get many auto attacks off and in pvp often you're chasing people or charging into a big hit, you want that MS to be deadly
you get one auto+one spell then get kited usually with some classes
also overpower hitting like a truck
also whirlwind hitting like a truck
with DW pvp you will only beat absolute garbage players or other warriors
noob question, but whats the benefit of the attack swing timer addon? am i right in thinking i should be using bloodthirst straight after a mainhand swing? or does it not matter, same for whirlwind
Just wondering what ability i should be timing and when
Timing heroic strikes and slams.
PvP is all about burst. DW won’t ever be more than meh
hey classic main tank war here wondering what to dual wield with thunderfury. Also, do I want TF in MH for more procs or is it okay to have in OH? Thanks
i have both bindings and will have TF so that wasnt a hypothetical question
Use a shield like a real tank
Any kind of fast weapons usually
QS isnt bad too if you dont want rogues and warriors hating you
Threat
Nah just 6% if you use edgemasters like you should
@wheat geyser Maladath
@distant saffron mala MH or OH?
thats what i thought but people were confusing me with "always have a quicker OH"
ty
Grand Marshals swiftblade is prob the best OH though if i can get?
then why not chromatically tempered over mala
Is it worth attempting to get the full Scarlet set?
no
anyone having issues with HoJ procs?
What’s drop rate been like for you guys on Death bringer? We have gotten 2 in the last 4 kills. And I hope to get the next one but can’t tell if it drops well or if we just got really lucky with 2
Shit.
Split raids for a long time with 2-3 raids per reset and no team has seen one for our guild
Like 5 viskags tho

Destin proc is insane but stats are strong on the first one
TUF
what means TUF ? sorry not english native and I dont get the reference :p
The unstopable force
oh yes the 2H mass
Not sure if its with 1 or 2 ps
I already have Destin with crusader on it
so you think I should just keep that way until exalted AV ?
Ye
Hey guys if your kill times are about 60 seconds in MC, is it better to mighty rage pot on pull for rage or during execute?
Execute. Let tanks establish threat. Get big numbers on execute with death wish.
you guys think lobotomizer better than mirah's song in OH? With Edgemasters ofc
you'll find the dps spreadsheet over at the classic warrior discord (link in the pins in this channel) @timber violet
yea did some tinkering saw it for myself, ty though
Fight clubs BIS page agai, so it gives the "BIS" gear for fury, and then says the BIS 2h weapon for orcs/humans. So whats the BIS gear for a tauren using 2h as edgemasters dont effect 2h weapons, will this page ever get updated for this? cheers
Stick with 1h weapons if you have edge master.
hi all , if i use MH sword and OF axe do i need 9% hit or 6% coz im human
9
you need to stop using OH axe, or else only use oh axe if say you have axe in mh and have edgemasters, Most likely the oh axe in question isn't better than some sword or mace blue
Just get mirah for oh. Ez to get
ok ty good to know
i would spend my time in AV, need don julios anyways, and the weapon at revered is good.
So I’m having an argument with a nice warrior in AV - are dual wielding warriors supposed to have hit % above yellow cap to gen more rage from auto attacks or is that a waste of hit beyond yellow cap?
I feel like you’ve asked this question before, but 6% hit with wep skill and 9% without is a necessity. Anything beyond is a minimal dps increase that you’re better off prioritizing other stats.
Don’t think so. I’ve always gone by the guides saying 9% and 6 at 305 skill. This was my first time hearing someone suggest going over for rage gen is what dual wielders are supposed to do. Thanks tho!
It’s a misconception that DW warriors need to stack as much hit as they can for OH rage generation. As said above, as long as you have 6/305 or 9/300 hit/skill, you’re better off stacking more crit and strength.
hey guys, i'm not a pro in PVP but i think i'm not that bad. Is it normal to feel powerless against rogues in a straight 1v1 ?
This shit hits too hard to recover
Peoples views on Fury warrior having thunderfury?
How long through classic would it last for decent dps
Give your mt TF. 🤡
nirvana are you dueling? most rogues I come across are a non issue, but some rogues that have everything up in a perfect environment have really mastered how to handle warriors.
Xuai, I had TF in vanilla, i actually used it in oh because r14 weapon was more dps in main, my purpose was applying the debuff. Tank had no issues with aggro as deep prot, but he was a great player. The most common field of thought on tf is that it gets tanks much needed threat. Currently might be looked on poorly if a dps got it if they weren't a back up tank for instance. But from a dps stand point it should be competitive for a long time, primarily in MH until higher gear levels and another high end weapon. You could potentially use it all of classic in one of your hands, for the raid debuff but still solid damage. Granted I could have edged slightly more damage without it once fully geared, that minor amount wasn't worth losing the debuff. Kind of a cluttered thought, but good luck convincing them if you don't already have tf set up for a tank.
@summer stratus yeah, some rogues i win easily. And some i can't do shit they just reck me in stuns or i can't reach them. So i'm wondering if it's normal or maybe i am the issue.
Like morth said op owns rogues. Make sure you have pvp trinket. You can beserker rage out of gouge and some engineering. You can also fear and bandage if they aren’t bleeding. But you want to rend if you haven’t critted for deep wounds.
yeah i know that
but idk why some rogues can down me 50% in a single cheap shot and some others i just wreck them with OP because i'm still alive
Yeah dunno. Reason in vanilla I had a lot of hp.
stack hp and crit with all plate and 2hander, you will be good
How much better is flurry axe over frost bite? Is it worth the gold especially when I’m waiting on deathbringer to drop ?
As offhand by the way got vis’kag as main
its an upgrade but not by a long shot
ok thanks i might still get it and just not equip for now but frostbite is serving me well so far
dont feel like fuckin that up
Well, 3rd death bringer in 5 kills.
Is it only me or equipment in classic seems to be more impactful than in retail? All weapon look the same and only a few have peticular effect in retail,
Yes
Should I get edgemasters even as an orc with axes?
Im only losing 1% crit with devilsaure hands currently not using the legs
Nah dont buy those
So would you recomend going 9% hit then the 3% fomr axes making it 13% hit or 6% hit with axes
im sorry what
so stack 9%hit wit gear + the extra 3% from +5 wep skill
or just got 6% hit and get the other 3% from +5 wep ski;;
Get 6% hit with 305 weapon skill.
+5 weapon skill does not grant you more hit after 305
Its like saying should I drop a bunch of crit and ap to gain .3% hit chance....
what are some good trinkets for mythic plus. like should i be using coral and inkpod or 440 of vial and crit block
woops wrong channel
retail lmao
g o t o re t a il
Should A fury warrior spec out of deep wounds to for an annihilator debuff?
really? id imagine the armor debuff is way more important. Not sure of the number. But probably 2
need 3-4 i think
okay and wouldnt deep wounds just kick off the debuff?
deep wounds is low prio
I though all weapon debuffs were low prio too?
it will drop off for higher prio ones
speccing out of deep wounds isnt worth it, plus your uptime of the debuff on boss will be low
well and if it procs its just instantly replaced the other 6-12 warriors in a raid if they have deep wounds
at that point why bring anything like an annihilator if the debuff is going to get pushed off right away
you need the debuff on the boss a high amount of time
so just get rid of annihilator all together?
the amount of time with one or two axes will be super low
you can always add in more
yeah in the case of more it will be worth it
you dont have to go off of the number of 2 being there
I always figured priority one was getting the boss to 0 armor
🤔
groundbreaking stuff
too me it is if +5 gives 7% crit then +7 on gloves 8.5% making it better than devilsaur gloves
8.5% crit over 1% on gloves
🤔
this server doesnt allow custom emotes
but i want u to imagine a MUCH more intense thinking emote than that 1
lol, if im wrong please tell me know before i spend 600g on edgemasters
ill scren shot for you
With 2 axes
With Vis
why do i lose so much crit going to sword?
is your sword skill
leveled
or is it low level
because if not thats actually 300 wep skill ur seeing
a 300 wep skill diff
you know what
im a retard
hey warriors, im curious whats the difference between 2h warriors, and 1h warriors overall? im an alliance player and was considering alting a juicy warrior, my mains a hunter so i have funds for the warrior life but every warrior i inspect seems to rock 1h weapons and just look like a budget rogue 😛
2h (Arms) for everything but raids. 1h/DW (Fury) is your raid spec.
just the way it is
if you want to play optimally
yeah and 2handed for cleave, pref BRE
is there a classic specific warr discord?
thankyou
2hand fury with slam macro is more than competitive in raids.
on horde
On alli too
What’s the difference here horde or alliance?
horde gets windfury which is higher impact for 2h than 1h
Oh true
Horde has slight advantage with windfury but 2hand slam on alliance works well with a good weapon using slam macro.
Yeah with BRE its a valid build
I’m doing quite well with TUF. Lots of crit.
TUF is very nice on alli I bet
Got level 40
Got my mount
Got Mortal strike
Should I just replace my whirlwind axe with bonebiter permanently now?
Gotten kinda attatched to my ww axe ❤️
is 2hand fury pve build for horde with Slam talents still the best?
the best for 2hand i know one hand fury is better
Thoughts on thunderfury for a fury warrior
furyprot sure
Thunderfury is made for tanking
It generates a fuckton of threat
It's literally a threat generator with how often it procs, meaning that it's basically meant for tanks.
Doesn't mean you won't get it, but there's basically no chance of you getting it before the main tank, and after that's the off tank.
Even once you get it there's no guarantee you get to use it in raids because of the aggro it generates.
our MT is getting it
but the next, if we get a next isnt going to the OT straight away
There are better weapons for fury warr though? or can TF be used for the entire of classic
you would smash but yeah if ur weielding one of those i would wear tank gear or go fury prot cos u the tank now lol
Long story short, 99% you're not getting it as a DPS. Just too much threat.
If I have 308 weapon skill I only need around 6% hit rating right?
Please advice tks
ill slowly transition to tank maybe then if the threats too high lol
long way away yet anyway
@cunning spoke yes
Is quelserrar a decent starting weapon for tanking a new raid
I also have core hounds tooth
But if we are just starting it might be better to use a shield since I probably won’t need to do fury prot to keep threat yet?
Quel'serrar is good
@meager blaze Lol that's cute, this guy thinks his guild is gonna get two thunderfuries
we already have one
@marsh cape My vanilla guild cleared MC for over a year weekly and never got TF or HoR
I dunno the exact % drop rates, but in general more than half of all raiding guilds will probably never get a TF
can anyone explain to me why eldritch reinforces legplates are giving me more crit than legionnaires legs?
its bugging dont worry
@distant saffron you mentioned guilds don't use annihilator? my guild is trying to get us all to make them, any argument against it?
Hello guys,
Is it better to play 2H fury with Destiny https://classic.wowhead.com/item=647/destiny
Or with 2 x Skullforge Reaver https://classic.wowhead.com/item=13361/skullforge-reaver
The dual proc can be strong ?
I have all those weapons currently, that's why I'm asking :p
Skull forge if the debuff isn’t a problem in your raid. But plenty of other better options. Are you human?
Yeah I'm human
ok ! thanks
What’s white hits hit cap if your using Edgemaster. 6 or 9 ?
dual wield or 2h
@brazen imp
2h it's 6%,
DW it's 24% iirc
But white cap is not worth going for, better to just hit the 6% cap and stack better stats like crit and ap
dw I’m using Edgemasters with 2 swords
what race
6
6
Ok thanks
what swords? really should be using axes with 6% hit as an orc, and not using edgemasters. Unless say you had something like thunderfury.
Brut and viskag guessing
vendor them and use axes
I dont control what drops when the axes drop I’ll get em but I’ll optimize in the meantime
And yes viskag Brut
Haven’t seen a single deathbringer so in time
what lvl does warrior start to really open up dps wise?
22 right now in classic. really really slow.
@stiff gorge 40. Make sure u arent heroic striking and sundering instead (unless u have like over 50 rage). If u sunder u get hella overpower procs which is best ability for leveling pre 36 (when you unlock whirlwind)
Also sunders make you AAs do more damage and you get more rage
ok
Once you get wf totem warrior dps skyrockets. But yes should prior sunder at high hp mob lvls. Heroic strike only used if you are going to cap rage and mob is low hp. I thought warrior dps was great the whole way through.
Hello guys, as fury warrior in multi targets, should I use WW > BT > Cleave
Or WW > Cleave ?
I've been told I should use BT but cleave looks better so I don't know.
Also is it worth it to spend the 3 points to improve Cleave in order to farm dungeons ?
Hi Ludw, I believe for 2 targets it should be BT on CD>WW on CD>rage dump with cleave when at 60ish+ rage. For 3+ targets, swap BT and WW priority.
Question (Alliance human fury warrior): the fights in MC are so short it probably doesn't matter much, but technically there should be a dps increase using fast weapons like daggers during the execute phase. Would it ever be worth weapon swapping to daggers/fast weapons at around 21-22% for a dps increase during the execute phase?
thanks dude
If execute phase is rather long it can be.
The only execute phase that is a bit longer currently is 20 man Onyxia. I might give it a try for that. When you say "rather long", what kind of time frame do you have in mind?
You'd have to be careful not to pull aggro on onyxia though, with the partial threat wipe she does to the tank and all
That's true, probably not even worth it for a 20 man kill due to that. During a 40 man she drops so quick it wouldn't be too much of an issue, but then that also negates most of the benefit of swapping in the first place.
I can dig up marrow's chart for you or you can search fight club for it. Basically a chart he made that shows roughly the advantage to the swap based on how long execute phase is. And you are right ony is one of the few with a long execute phase unless your guild has poor dps players or less players like you said. Even a strong 20 man ony is rather fast but assuming at that point dagger swap still beneficial, although ony is rough on aggro anyways, so it will depend on the strength of your tank. Generally though with good kill speeds in MC and everyone buffed etc I wouldn't bother with swap. I had a swap macro for a while, but as I got better weapons I found I didn't care to swap to the daggers anymore. I also was using a dagger in off hand for a while, so a swap then just main hand didn't seem worth it.
I can search fight club for it, thanks. I didn't know there was a chart for that, so I'm excited to see it. I don't think it would provide much more for me right now since I have Vis'kag and Brutality Blade, and no daggers of the same caliber. I'll consider it for BWL, though. I might try it in MC if I ever pick up decent daggers. I'll post back here sometime if I end up doing that.
to be honest with those weapons I wouldn't bother either, although the power of daggers in execute is obviously the fast attacks letting you get more low rage executes off. They don't have to be the best daggers, but obviously better daggers means more rage. World buffs do the same thing of course. but unless daggers are rotting, not many guilds going to give you nice daggers when you have waht you have.
Exactly, I'm sure there are quite a few rogues and non-human warriors who will want the daggers. Great daggers, as you mentioned, aren't as important while executing, but it would technically still help with the autos between the executes. If I'm reading Marrow's graphs correctly (just glanced at it so far), it appears that swapping doesn't start to really make a difference until a 10s execute window. The difference at that point isn't dramatic, and most of our execute phases aren't taking that long. Once it gets to 20s+ I think I'd start looking into it. Thanks for the help!
yep, you're welcome
dal'rends set or brut MH/mirah's OH
I would say Brut/Mirah
can the classic gamers please bless my raid with good rng for tonights raid?
we've only seen 2 earthshakers since release
😏
i need some help with classic warrior theorycrafting
as non orc warrior with edgemaster's fury dual wield for phase 3 in bwl which should i go to the 2 axes or 2 swords
atm i have deathbringer mh and brutality blade oh
hey quick question if i have DW and skill 307 is my hit% 6% or 9%? i was told it was 6 but that since im DW i have to get 9?
6
@slender scarab you already have bis weapons. If your orcs get crul you could snag one up after them.
hey guys i'm about to get reach lvl 60, facing that i want to change from my arms leveling build to another one. I just found a Fury/Prot Talent Build and i'm considering if this is a good build. I want to tank dungeons but is it possible to tank or dps raid with that build?
for raiding i think it will depend on what type of guild you join
if you join a casual dad guild then i think you can dps in any build
Fury/prot takes a lot to pull off. Even with decent gear it seems kinda lame in 5 mans. All the tanks I've seen using it in 5 mans are rage starved because they aren't getting hit hard enough. As for the raid scene you need tons of dps gear like Lion Heart's Helm, Band of Accuria, Onslaught Girdle, etc. Unless you are a Human(Brut Blade/Vis'kag) or Orc(Deathbringer/flurry axe) it seems kinda meme spec. There are fury/prot tanks using Perds/CHT with Aged Core Leather gloves but I don't see letting them get priority over dagger rogues for those items.
guys are legplates of fallen crusader (the one dropping from firemaw in bwl) alliance only ? or is it for both factions
both
Fury/Prot does not require specific contested drops like Accuria and Onslaught or raid weapons go get going. Lionheart is good but hardly gating like raid drop rng. What is relevant is world buffs and full consumes and raid dps that actually justifies playing it.
No respectable tank would ever grab onslaughts or viskag before a dps. The only clear tank prio is accuria. Humans have access to AV revered mace or QS as perfectly viable weapon choices along side mirah’s.
That being said it is still garbage in dungeons. You can’t stance dance cus no tactical mastery, rage starving is true and burst threat compared to arms and deep prot is crap.
yo any good warriors in here mind helping me out>?
"
With?
Been doing many warsongs at lvl 39, I am having way less fun in pvp than I had in dungeons : I am getting CCd a lot, kitted by frost mages all the day, dots from warlocks that I can't dispell, unable to disengage a fight. What should i do ?
I feel like if there isn't someone to support me by healing and dispelling, then I am screwed in many situations
Sounds about right. Get a pocket healer.
40-49 bracket is a lot more enjoyable, you have a mount and mortal strike to play with
you need a pocket healer and a few stacks of FAPs to truly enjoy the warrior experience
also how much fun you have is directly determined by how good your weapon is, especially while leveling
dont be a pussy get a pendulum at 39
question guys if im hit capped as fury dual wield warrior non orc with edgemaster's
but also crit capped ?
what should i be building more like should i go for more crit or more hit
or it dosent matter
wondering which will be more beneficial
More AP.
Don’t worry about crit cap. Same itemization rules apply. Keep in mind if hs is queued your crit cap goes way up. And that crit cap you are worried about is white hits. But like I said that changes to as if you aren’t dual wielding with hs up. Which if fully buffed is most of the time. Or you can hs queue macro if not. Which will work for oh hits.
my RL has me help off tank some encounters, could i sac some Arms points for points in Prot or am i being too paranoid
only dropping impale and imp overpower*
Fury prot for OT.
Are you an actual OT or just tanks during Sulfuron and domo? If you’re the latter then just stay full dps.
ya im just for sulf and majoir
thanks for help, i just get overly paranoid and overthink things
how close do I need to be to the guy who's doing an instance carry to get xp?
Any recommend weapons before whirlwind for arms ? Just got night reaver from sfk
Sell night reaver. The staff from WC quest chain is good til corpsemaker. Then get whirlwind axe.
There's a warrior weapon progression table i the fight club levelling faq
@cloud wadi Toiletries is correct. Unless you are a second or third tank. Those fights you are tanking a mob you shouldn't have threat issues which is where defiance comes into play for main and off tanks, crucial points for them, but for your role definitely not. Other than that you wouldn't gain much from those prot points, and losing tactical mastery is aids for general play.
Nice blizzard killed slam spec
Pretty well expected it
Wtf really ?
Remove fun
Where you read that
literally the only hotfix LUL
so lame
yep
I mean to be fair it didn’t exist in vanilla and it was strong af.
ranking in 1.12 AV didnt exist in vanilla
is strong as fuck
and is also the least fun thing in the world
😏
But you still can cast slam just in time after your auto attack was landed, like it was in tbc, then you don’t lose attack
Like auto-slam-bt-auto-slam-ww-auto-slam-some other gcd- and repeat
yes but with macro it was possible to cast a slam and lose nothing off your swing timer
now you will lose at least 1 second, possibly more
and thats with 5/5 imp slam
yeah still lose 1 second, pretty huge difference. not to mention you could follow an auto slam with bt ww or queue hs and ham and get wf procs and dish out insane numbers at once
bloodthirst any good?
im DW fury but the tradeoff for bloodthirst is sweeping strikes
my build
I'm really confused, you don't have bloodthirst or sweeping strikes
yeah i was wondering if either of them are worth the points
i actually plan my builds around these concept a lot
if you want to be effective with a powerful cleaving build you want to use a 2hander, and nothing beats sweeping strikes 21 arms 30 fury for aoe potential, dual wield just doesn't benefit from ss as much and you would take bloodthirst so you have strong single target damage.
are you leveling then?
BT won't feel that strong at first, but it's the way to go with dual wielding
why 10 into fury?
crits and rage
15
Typically best way to level is to go arms. but you can have some great dps potential also playing 2h fury. normally it's 5 fury then dump into arms, till you can respec for sweeping strikes, or you don't bother respeccing and once you get ms you finish off fury. I went pure 2h fury until later on when I could respec for ss only, and be mid way through finishing enrage. Initially ss was only a burst dps increase at this phase, but as I finished fury it was a nice build. I typically average around 380 dps overall in a dungeon at the end with it, whearas with a full fury build I do like 240, but full fury is much higher single target damage, especially with the change to autoslam macro the lack of blood thirst makes the other build significantly weaker on ST fights.
people argue you can't play without tactical mastery, but those early levels I was sitting in battle stance cleaving and sundering anyways was most efficient I even tanked in battle stance until quite a bit later I spent more time in beserker towards end of my SM grind.
can anyone link me to a website about weapon skill
like how much you need
I always heard +5 as orc is enough and you dont need edgemasters
Correct. Fight club has resources. 7 and even 8 skill is better than 5 but marginally.
and whats hitcap on white hit mainhand attacks with 305 skill vs raid boss?
Crafted my hand of rag last night have never been 2h fury anyone guide me in the right direction of a decent guide?
Can you guys send me your ui's
Hi, I have undead fury warrior, I have a question I have 2 set and I want to know which one is better ( first set ) with devilsaur leg and edgemaster hand with this i will have 8 or 9% hit and 10% crit. ( 2nd set ) devilsaur leg and devilsaur hand with this i will have 10 or 11% hit and 13% crit. So which one is better ?
You only need 6% hit with edge. So wear that and itemize accordingly.
305+ weapon skill also reduces your chance to glancing blow against lvl 61+ mobs.
Is 2h slam spec still viable or should I play non slam. Have deathbring and viskag too but want to test out my new hammer of rag. Any advice would be helpful.
haha, you have like every good weapon. I would go with dual wield personally, will be higher dps. New slam is meh, and requires 5 points in imp slam
2hand slam spec was nerfed
For a gnome warrior with Edgemaster and Deathbringer MH, how would you rate Flurry Axe against Core Hound Tooth? I find myself having trouble to get rolling often, so the crit is very tempting
Cht is quite a lot better if you can grab one
But that's prio for our dagger rouges atm
Our dagger rogues are very geared compared to our fury warriors
I see, thats what i expected too - Thank you
Can someone tell me if this would be viable. Horde, non-orc with BRE and 9% hit.
that's awful
http://armory.twinstar.cz/talent-calc.php?cid=1&d=vanilla&tal=0230501132200000000505000500551005100000000000000000 you would cast slam after an auto hit lands granted you have enough rage to cast BT and ww on cooldown also. Basic raid spec for 2h slam build. Or you spec dual wield build, only use BRE on cleave fights swap to dw on any single target fight, and instead of slamming cast cleave.
why are so many fury warriors, using quel serrar as there main hand before a few of blue main hands you can get easily that do more dmg for instance stormstrike hammer from av revered does almost 30 more dmg and has 15 strength also?
probably tanks at one point and decided to dps?
Is there a guide for 2h fury pve spec anywhere?
@light wave being alliance I’m not sure weapon speed matters enough to make up for the fact quell is 10 dps higher.
Has anyone had success on the Alliance with swapping to 2h for AoE fights? I'm not sure if it's worth using a 2h on fights where I can consistently WW/cleave on 3+ targets, and maybe even swap back to DW if the adds drop. I'll use Sulf as an example, assuming we're AoEing the adds and then swapping back to DW for Sulf himself. Vis/Brut and OEB.
Are you guys mostly tanking with Fury/Prot?
Personally I parse 99 percentile as 2h fury slam spec with BRE on alliance side and beat a lot of the DW warriors. It does fine on everything if you play it right and have the right gear setup (crit wise) to make it good.
Low crit 2h is absolute dog shit
2h slam is fine, but if you want to try to parse 100s for example, you're probably gonna have a hard time on some bosses.
parsing 100 requires a group that can parse 100s in the first place
kill time > spec
if you are just planning on dungeon spam leveling as the tank.. is it viable to go into the Prot tree?
you could, but arms talents are better for dungeons even if you are tanking
I wouldn't dungeon level as prot, or any kind of leveling as prot.
What leveling 2h'ers you think are worth it to enchant crusadcer on
ww? ravager? kangs?
None
Are you lvling in dungeons or quests? Not sure if I remember correctly. But might have been fiery enchant had a chance to proc ravager.
dont level as tank i did that ended up 2hander all dungeons can and are tanked by 2handers or fury
2hander is fun tanking with ss ww
Can anyone confirm if the Haste Arcanum is better than Strength when using BRE?
Don't use haste as 2H
aight ty
Hey guys, fury tank here :D discussing about maladath atm with my people... Is +4 on swords (as an undead) valuable or does only +5 and above count? As far as I know, the first +1% hit from gear is ignored, as long as you do not reach +5 weapon skill. But glancing blows dealing ~80% damage instead of 65% dmg with +4 on swords... I would wear brutality blade or quel in main hand, maladath in off hand. Would you go for maladath?
only 5 and up
use maladath if you're human or have edge
other than that, i would give to rogues.
Got a guy who is deep prot but sometimes switches shield out for an offhand for rage generation, is that a good idea?
Anyone theorycraft enough who knows of any benefit of utilizing 2 one-handers during certain times as deep prot?
obsidian edged blade (with 2h fury specc) vs brutality blade + mirahs song(dual wield fury specc) ?
human?
hye, so ive been trying to find solid information on it and am having trouble finding anything other than a forum or just face value of the item, but can anyone explain ANNIHILATOR to me and EVERYTHING about it, also kinda if its viable or not. ty
Its viable, its better than most axes as an orc tank loses out to just the AV axe. Its okay if your the only one using it but it really needs 2+ tanks using it to stack the armor debuff
Has a 3% chance to proc
So my warrior alt is nearly 60. I have a couple of decisions to make.
I have devilsaur set, haven't equipped it yet.
Equip devilsaur, or sell devilsaur and buy 3pc black dragonscale?
I also can't decide 2handed fury or dw fury. I kinda like 2handers but...
Anyone got any sage advice before I take the plunge either direction?
Black dragonscale will last longer and good for MC with the FR even after you get upgrades.
Slam spec was nerfed recently but still decent with a good 2hander. For that choice though, it’ll depend on your weapons.
dense sharpening stone bettetr than elemental sharpening stone at any point?
or any threshold where dense becomes better?
go with dw for pve
Any recommendation on dense sharpening stone being better than elemental sharpening?
After a certain crit % point?
For best dps use dense only on flurry axe since it's too low lvl for crit stone
I don’t use flurry axe. So I’m asking whether dense stone is better than crit stone at any point? At a certain crit level or just whether dense is just better for the damage. I’ve heard mix thoughts so just looking for some confirmations or insight to what to use going into bwl
Critcap is about 40 or soonly for whites and you are spamming hs almost on cd with how much rage we got
So most of the dmg is yellows which can't glance
in other words don't worry about crit cap
Anyone play on Mograine EU?
i use dense when we aren't speed clearing
Hey everyone, would a gutgore ripper (dagger from MC, 50.6 dps CoH: sen a shadowy bolt causing 75 dmg and lowering stats by 25) or the frostbite axe be better as an offhand? I currently have deathbringer for a MH and am an orc fury warrior
gutgore is really meh and you really need aclg if you wanna use a dagger oh as an orc
Use axes. Flurry if you can find one, frostbite if flurry is to expensive
gotcha, thanks for the input!
Question for Fury-Prot DW tanking. Currently I am rocking Core Hound Tooth as Mainhand (replaced Quel), for offhand I’d ideally want a Flurry Axe for orc specialization but haven’t come across one in the AH. So would you guys recommend using Frostbite or Bone Slicing Hatchet? Also, would I generally want two quick weapons or can I get a heavy hitter for offhand?
Assuming you have edge, just keep quel for mh and use cht for oh.
If you don’t have edge, get distracting dagger from DMW
Good call on distracting dagger, I forgot I’ve seen that drop. Don’t have edgemasters, also rare on AH and switched my MH for faster Heroic Strikes.
Advice on Pre-Bis DW - I have Frostbite MH and either Thrash Blade OH or Iceblade Hacker off Ras. I am an Orc. Thoughts?
Use an axe.
Anyone know if The Unstoppable Force > Dal'Rends on fury warr pve? Assume crusa on both
im assuming human
Dual wield is 9/10 better dmg if you’re hit capped
will people be getting someone to use Annihilator in your raids?
is it actually worth it?
We have 3 offtanks and they use it
Anni isn’t worth using for high end alliance raiding, probably is for horde
i am a new player
32 level night elf
and i am looking for dungeon team

Are there any good ways to get hit capped as a nelf prot fury without edgies?
Daggers with aclg or muggers belt or distracting dagger.
Aged core tooth vs Perdition's blade for deep prot shield tanking. Bearing in mind I am an orc and will have aged core leather gloves equipped. any help appreciated
what is aged core tooth
core hound tooth is a much better tanking weapon than perdition's blade
there is no contest
leave perdition's blade for your rogues
Sorry I can't find any information on the subject: Does anyone know if deep wounds will remove the magic vulnerability that nightfall weapon proc provides?
ta seo
Also, why is core hound tooth straight up better than perdies? Perdies gives way more threat for ST right?

I recently got deathbringer and been using frostbite OH. I’ve been finding that without word buffs, spinal reaper does more damage. I’m horde...anyone else have similar experiences
Ive no idea what u just said
Basically, minus world buffs, dual wielding horde side seems meh even with 90% raid BiS
Hey ... just wanna ask if someome can answer me this question: is it more beneficial to use Flurry Axe with the Dal'rends Mainhand instead of the usual Main/offhand dalrends comp? - or is the Proc from flurry not worth it? (Using Tauren Warrior so +weapon doesnt really matter)
use the set for now if you have it
Hey guys. With BWL soon-ish and Thunderfury closer what would you recommend for FuryProt along with TF? Maladath? CHT? Something different?
I would say Maladath for the weapon skill but I've seen some people not recommending that for whatever reason.
Its probably fine
I have a question how strong is maladath as an off hand for human war compared to a non human war because isn’t mala just for the + sword skill basically
it's trash for a war using edgies
its human warrior and rogue weapon
Y'all think Puissant Cape is viable for tanking - I won the roll and I assume its definitely no unusable for tanking
can someone link me a good 2h fury build
Mark of the Chosen + Blackstone Ring or Rune of the Guard Captain + Myrmidon's Signet
my opinion is that mark of the chosen is better, not sure what others would say, but myrmidon's is a good chunk of hp but most likely don't need it at this point
What would be better for raidboss dps, dalrends fury, or bonereavers fury slam spec?
No way are you hit capped, use all 4.
If I had to choose tho I'd probably go Mark + Blackstone
he has 6% equipped right now in that pic
Neck, hand, ring, trinket... I'm guessing the bow and axe are +1% as well? Fair. Yeah go Blackstone and Mark imo
neck back hand ring trinket bow, he mentioned he had puissant cape
Hey guys: Can you pop Diamond Flask and swap it out for another trinket before you pull? Asking for a friend 😄
I don’t think anyone knows yet. You’ll have to try it, but I don’t expect that to work.
hey for the wc quest, should I take the staff or the one handed ?
im leveling as arms right now
I took staff. You can use it till sword from bfd or corpsemaker. There’s another staff as well but the wc quest done early on that staff will rush you along.
im level 22 and I havent dont wc yet
I was thinking about taking the sword for tanking other dungeons
that staff does seem pretty good
Staff is very nice
tank with 2 hander on
hey quick question, does anyone know of good tactics to take on two mob enemies as a tank arc?
orc?
just tab sunder/taunt when it leaves kekw
If you are tanking multiple mobs try to stack Sunder Armor equally, If you are tanking Dungeons as dps, use 2hander and cleave + ww. It will Hit hard and Help you Holding Aggro. Or even go Arms, and use sweeping strikes, cleave and ww.
