I think you'd be able to have solid cleave damage without rage starving yourself with going into sunder, blood rage and blocking more
Ss with a 1 hander is shit.
I mean have you actually tried it or are you just assuming
I am just bouncing ideas off the wall I haven't actually used this
god forbid someones tries something different
game is 15 years old
shit is figured out
if u overgear stuff just go dualwield fury
yday a huntard ninjaed a ravager, told his GM today seen him guildless
gotta love the classic community
guys ive killed rag twice but BRE still hasnt dropped wtf???

kill it again
has anyone see HoJ drop from emperor?
people saying it only drops from angerforge now
Yes, because its pre 1.10 tables
is there a good BiS list for tanking?
cause I cant find one and thought there would be one in the pin
i think this one is ok , its from wowhead
For anyone that's already leveled at what point did you stop using your whirlwind axe just got it last night at 33 and was curious how far it would carry me?
i stopped using it after i got the SM quest axe
When do u guys think I should replace thrash blade?
Im 40 and ww axe still strong af
If youre horde keep it till the feralas quest axe maybe
Hey guys, new to classic WoW (and WoW in general). I'm playing as a Human protection warrior. Most of my talent points are gonna go into the protection tree, then once I get Shield slam, I'll work on the Arms tree to get anger management and the impale ability. I'm currently level 30. When I'm not playing with my friends as a tank, I do things solo in the battle stance. But now I have the option to unlock the berserker stance. My question is, once I unlock the berserker stance, and when I'm playing solo, is it better to play in Battle stance or the berserker stance, knowing that most of my talent points will be in the protection tree, and then some in the arms tree
you'll be using all 3 stances depending on your given situation, but probably use battle mostly
when solo
In what situation would I have to switch to the protection stance, when solo? If i'm in the berserker stance, I probably wouldn't even have a shield I'm assuming?
if you ever need to use an ability that requires defensive stance
and you can equip a shield during combat in a pinch
ah, okay
I make my stance macros swap between shield and weapons
If i'm just farming regular enemies to level up in the open world, would it be faster to do it in battle stance or berserker stance?
i'd only be pulling one enemy at a time
battle most likely, since you'll open with charge
ok
Out of curiosity, is there a particular Defense number I should be shooting for(since 440 isn't achievable afaik) or should i just stack as much defense as i can, and then swap out pieces based on my need for threat/incoming damage?
I’m not sure Defense is better than other tanking stats tbh since your uncrittable with shield block and 25% other avoidance / block?
Defense basically gives avoidance per point but it’s a pretty low amount. Can try and find the formula
also in a raid setting, defense isnt the bottleneck for tanks
threat is
so odds are you wont be def capped
How did you get your WW axe? Got help? Bought help? Waited till you’re strong enough?
Did you ERP for it?
sold my body
I ate a shit sandwich
how useful is frostoil for grinding? I bought it on a whim
but i might just sell it back
currently at 50g 2.8lvls from 40
bought for 55s
you should get the 8% ms enchant while leveling anything else is probably not worth it
ok ty
Any groups that help warrs get their WW axes? Will erp for it.
I'm gonna have to learn stance macros :(
What enchant is that ? @open bane
Also when you get WW axe + axe spec always open in bstance charge then berseker stance+bloodrage+zerker rage > whirlwind > sunders > execute
Only swap bstance with OP macro
boots minor speed
no bstance for ss?
we can buy scrolls of enchants in classic or we need always a enchanter?
you need an enchanter
is gatorbite axe good?
Yes
New to WoW but tanked in a number of MMOs currently level 33 on classic and started SM farming. Only now finding myself with threat issues, mostly stemming from dps going ham on big pulls and peeling right away. I’m struggling to get aggro back fast without cycling through taunting. My gear isn’t too bad for the level but I’m currently all Arms traits and haven’t ranked up a few skills at the trainer. Will this be greatly effecting the threat? Or is it common to lose aggro early on at this level due to keen dpsers.
I’m usually opening a pull by either bow and LoS to pull in casters or charging into melee, demo shout, cleave/thunder cap. Defensive stance and behind tabbing and applying sunder to everything and using revenge every proc as I go. I’ll demo shout a couple more times and battle shout when my melee dps get involved.
aoe threat is pretty limited, the larger the pull the harder you'll have controlling it
using a 2h weapon will improve yoru threat gen
and the shield isnt really necessary
Yeah it seems that way. Kinda disappointing. Feels I’m doing something wrong but hard to see what.
Looking to pick up ravager and will try aoeing with it.
you wont have good snap aoe threat options until you have whirlwind tbh
at 36
and even then it only hits 4 targets
Ravager whirlwind and sweeping strikes?
That should help a bit then. Thank you.
Just good to know it’s not just a vital thing I’m missing and it’s more of a wider issue
the ability whirlwind is affected by sweeping
ravager is a channeled aoe
So for now at 33 you’d suggest busting out the whirlwind axe and just shield when needed to or on single target bosses?
yeah
Perfect. Thank you
still use sunder and def stance
but the shield wont be needed unless your at danger of dying
Awesome
Starting to level engineer too as I see it’s pretty great for aoe threat at later stages
have shield macro and only go D stance when you drop health
or when boss hits hard/is too high lvl
otherwise shield tanking is completely pointless and
to your group
as human u only want 6% hit correct?
well as any race really, you pick up edgemasters if you arent human/orc
morth
Do we know enough about boss armor to say that Bonereavers Edge is as good as it is?
post perfection transmog here
Grats mate
Rppvp
Yes @warped oasis
RPPVP is good shit
You can report everyone with a dumb name
And boom
They get a 2 day ban
yeah and not so many spergs around
met a ninja shitter huntard in a run, ninjaed my ravager
told his GM, next day guy was guildless lul
Yeah now youre 20 lvls above me @woven torrent lul
no rush tho, P2 still too far gone
HAve my epic mount, and 200g again
Dungeons give quite a lot of cash
Which is good
Remember to get the grey wolf at 60
why grey
meh pink eyes
Purple
Yikes that’s not even close to pink
Also my character looks like a mess
Mail gear, leather gear and cloth
It doesn't mash at all
curious do fury warriors put Elemental Sharpening Stone on mainhand or offhand and sharpening on the other?
elemental on both
can you guys use retail plater and details profile on classic?
got it need to check it
or
i need to upgrade my axe so tired of using the same axe for 20 levels
im thinking lord alexanders but the swing speed has me a bit worried
any one beuller beuller????
I thought executioners was considered the next upgrade after WW?
is there a guide im missing ?
Alexanders is fine
Slow 1Her or fast 1Her for levelling?
Humour me here. If I was to use a 1Her, which would work better?
no idea why would you gimp yourself like that ?
Pocket healer
so alexanders over executioner?
pocket healer means you pull2 mobs at a time with a big 2H
@dusty herald either is fine
Anyone got a good pre-bis list for tanks?
So I hear about the Staff of Westfall is a good leveling weapon even though it has int and spt on it. But wouldn't Smite's hammer which has almost the same DPS, is slower, and has STR on it be better?
ok, ty
do you generate more rage from using 2h vs 1h?
in classic you generate rage based on the amount of damage done and taken, weapon type/speed/etc. doesn't matter
that's TBC crap
how come rivenspike isn't mentioned any pre-bis lists for orcs?
is it because the debuff is personal and takes up a splot?
it's not personal, but it doesn't stack with faerie fire
Anyone have that dual wield tank warrior guide I saw on reddit yesterday? I can't find it
this one?
1/ What is it ? It's when the Tank walk into a raid with this Fury/Prot build and tanks...
Yeah

hey guys. as a dw fury i been using thrash blade and flurry axe. now i looted bloodrazor and i got a krol blade from a guildie. what weapons should i use? or what should i focus on as dw fury? im new to classic warrior totally. thanks in advance
is zf gy still worth at lvl 49?
Hi guys, can someone help me understand the stats on weapons.
Why is higher weapon speed better? my understanding is its all the about the damage, so if weapon a has; 100-150 damage and 3.6 weapon speed. and weapon b had 115-165 and 3.0 weapon speed
isnt b better?
for questing?
From my understanding for questing you want a slow 2h axe so when you hamstring kite you'll net more dps while minimizing downtime not sure for anything outside of questing.
Got my first tier piece guys
because the time you spent kiting with hamstring will net a bigger hit and less health loss.
@wooden gate
A couple reasons why (generally) a slower weapon tends to be better.
Sunder Armor is part of our rotation from about level 20 until 60, with only a 6 level gap from 40-46 where it isn't used. Sunder Armor makes our autoattacks larger, meaning we gain more rage per hit. While the rage gained would near enough the same over a period with different weaponspeeds, with a slow speed, however it gets you more rage earlier in the fight, which helps. These added together builds momentum.
Next, Mortal Strike and Whirlwind are both based around Weapon Damage, and the slower your weapon, the higher its damage (at ilvl).
When people say slower is better, they always mean between equal budgeted weapons. Once we mix ilvls, then we look at their damage spreads. You take the low-end damage, and the high-end damage, add them together, then divide by 2. (low+high / 2 = X). You always then take the X that's higher, unless they're both very close but the lower one has significantly better stats. (For example, you'd take a tiny X loss if it meant getting an Axe with Str over a Staff with Int.)
So taking that into consideration, you are correct. Take weapon damage spread over speed
Thank you mate thats what i was looking for
Also autoattacks are not normalised, so the limited AP you have is slightly better on a slower weapon
I was basically comparing whirl wind to x'caliboar
and figured whirlwind is only better because of axe spec syngerizing with deep wounds
well i mean 5% crit is better either way imo
If you're wanting arms go orc horde. If you want fury go alliance human. It's a minute difference outside of the highest level but yeah.
Is it worth buying axe of the deep woods for 200g? Or is ironfoe much better and worth farming for?
If you have a static group, farming for it is aight
I mean, you need to be there for HOJ anyway
@coarse folio what race? And no, you dont need to farm emp for hoj, because it drops from angerforge
what is better to play overall after lvl 50? arms or furry?
Arms
go fury at hit cap?
go fury when raiding
@distant saffron human
alright
either farm dalrends/IF, get a krol, mass of mcgowan, or sword of zeal
how much HIT would someone recommend to switch to DW fury?
ally or horde
then switch when you have DB
DB?
thanks
Do you not have better sustain/ upkeep as fury while leveling?
im 53... should I jsut switch to 2h fury? got a good sword and im currently axe arms.. UGH
If there are any classic warrior tanks out there i'd love to have a chat
This is hard
What part of it is hard?
I can't keep agg
I'm in a SM run with my guild right now helping me learn
And I can't keep aggro. I'm not sure how much of that can be put onto the hunter being nine levels above me
I also have virtually no aoe skills without swapping to battle
It's aggravating
I know once I figure this out I'll be able to do this. But I'm so confused
theres no holding threat on aoe for warrior 2 targets probably but beyond that not really
So how do warriors tank dungeons?
you dont aoe
druid has an easier time keeping aggro on packs but they cant hold it either
So in a mob what do I do? Let other people take the damage?
Whats your weapon atm?
I'm using the Electrocutioner sword from Gnomer
as a tank?
Even with all the complaining healers do about 2h warrior tanks
Tell the healers to stop living in 2005
and theres no way in hell you'll get enough rage to tank multi mob packs without a 2H
What about literally every single defensive stance ability that requires shield
the main reason you want to block is to avoid crit/crush which isnt really an issue at that level the flat mitigation per block is pretty meh in most situations (granted the armour from the shield isnt irellevant but also mostly not relevant)
So am I still using defensive stance?
youll want to use whirlwind so not really
Don't get whirlwind til 40 do I?
36
36
got 3 more then
I was dual wield up until this point so I need a 2 hander as well I guess
Although the whirlwind axe is in my quest log
just get the whirlwind axe or ravager 4Head
yeah that's on my to do list
Going to add a few points and also reiterate what's already been said, @worn blaze
A) You'll never hold aggro off a DPS 9 levels higher than you, unless they're asleep at the wheel
B) 2h > 1h for tanking while leveling due to causing more damage and generating more rage, both of which translate into more threat; most of your aggro comes from simply out dpsing the other (relative to your level) players on the pull, and then sitting in defensive stance
C) Aside from your opening Charge -> Sweeping Strikes and Whirlwind (once you get it), most of your tanking will be in Defensive Stance; apply Demo, and cycle Revenge/Sunder until you can Whirlwind again, then go right back to DStance. Classic isn't retail, so don't expect to fill every GCD - rage management is more important
D) No halfway competent healer healer should have any problem keeping you alive 2h tanking unless you're pulling while they're OOM (don't do that). Using a Shield cripples your damage/rage income, while only providing an extra 5-10% physical DR (which you might want for some bosses/dangerous mobs in later dungeons, but not really in SM), which isn't make or break, and Shield Block does virtually nothing at that level, even if you had the rage to waste on it
E) Don't mass pull; most groups should only be 2-3 mobs, and players should be prioritizing targets so that you can maintain threat, unless you're using CC, kiting, or rooting (Frost Nova) them with an AoE strategy; again, Classic isn't Retail, and big pulls are generally the exception unless they include trivial/non-elite mobs that don't need to be tanked (ex: BRD has some of these)
this would probably be a good pin on the whole "debate" over 1h/2h tanking
I'll think up something a little more eloquent later
That's all very appreciated. I'll make it my goal to finish up my whirlwind axe tomorrow so that I don't need to worry about weapons
And then I'll just comp a different healer
Generally whats the best guideline for orc dps warriors? when to replace axe of deep woods/flurry axe? is brutality blade an upgrade?
cant seem to find any solid info regarding orc/human weapon BIS per phase
lvl 45 war debating wether to replace Whirlwind axe https://classic.wowhead.com/item=6975/whirlwind-axe with Chief's Enforcer https://classic.wowhead.com/item=9477/the-chiefs-enforcer
This blue two-handed axe has an item level of 40. Requires Warrior. It is a quest reward from Whirlwind Weapon. In the Two-Handed Axes category.
It's a really good staff tho
Yeah but i has no stats
Smack the fools with your pimp cane
Here's the deal
Get the staff
Try it out
Compared damage
I got it, but i gotta lvl staves first
Are Edgemaster's Handguards still worth it on a Human?
no
Ill add to what Archi wrote : use your retaliation for big pulls, it does extreme amount of dmg and if you sit on that cd youre a
Retaliation+challenging shout
i use that one a lot
i usually save it for big pulls that go wrong
if someone pulls some extra or someone dies etc.
I always pull 2-3 packs and go crazy dont get many go-wrong pulls on dung farms
when you group with randoms shit can go wrong
i mean, i've done a lot of SM melee cleave (4 warrior 1 shaman) and usually everything is fine
but sometimes shit hits the fan and that's the time for retal + challenging shout
Hey guys! I just got Stockade Pauldrons from a world drop and I plan on main/off-tanking in raids. Should I use them or sell them and get some other shoulders?
Use them.
I went 3/3 imp hamstring because wpvp, and I think I've gotten it to proc on someone literally once out of about 100 fights. To say I'm disappointed with it is an understatement. I remember it being clutch a lot more than this.
It’s one of those things that you remember when it works
Tried that challenging shout and retal after a bad fear pulled a few more packs.
Worked a treat
@bright karma
Pop sweeping strikes during retaliation for extra cash withdrawals
Pop sweeping strikes before cleave to hit both mobs twice
retaliation+challenging+brutal armor proc
The 30m and 1H cd's don't feel that long at all in classic
Because before you know it, they are back
Yeah once a dungeon basically
Two or three times in some of the later ones 😛
Cyclonian is 8 of each of the essences right?
Yes 8 of each Charm for 24 total then once put into the trolls cauldron becomes the one essence.
Brutal Armor doesn't proc it's a Use.
I suppose you proc every spell when you push it too
What if your spell that you procced, procs?
apples and oranges
It's like calling an orange and apple tho lol
It's just not right
Battle shout or Demo Shout spam
Challenge shout spam 😏
For tanking, I’ve seen some guys running fury rather than arms while they tank. (Be it two handed or with shield) which would better fury or arms while tanking?
Fury (with 2h or shield) might be a little better in tanking but you're only tanking as a dps spec because you also need to quest/do solo stuff when not in a dungeon which is where imo Arms succeeds with less of a gear crutch
Then again you get a tiny heal
@cunning plover so you’d say even for solo/question arms is better than fury? I feel I suck at sustain in fury
Definitely level first aid, the self heal you have isn't enough to actually sustain a whole lot and you generally do a lot more damage in Arms before getting much better gear
Fury warr with good gear is raw power though at level 60
Ahhh kk makes sense yeah I’ve almost maxed first aid. I’ll stick our arms and switch to fury when I have gear at 60
Thanks legends
Make sure you hamstring kite stuff so you aren't taking 3 slaps to every 1 you give out
Also believe in yourself
..... Lol no
It was never really about queue times with layering if I'm not mistaken
Or maybe they were and they will be removed once the pops have tapered off
Again could be wrong but I thought layering had a lot more to do with loadtimes/stability/gameplay than 'tricking' the population counters.
Based on name reservations so far, the Herod realm is looking to be massively overpopulated. If all existing players on this server remain there, login queues in excess of 10,000 players are a certainty, and possibly much higher than that. We recently opened up the Stalagg r...
According to this blue post which was posted on 16th of Aug if layering gets removed, expect severe queues
To add to that, on 28th of Aug they "substantially" increased the server caps
Which in this original blue post explains would make the queue times even harsher upon removal of layers
Im trying to figure out where people are getting this layers dont affect queues myth from
Do I take herb and alchemy or mining and bs
I wanna get more gold etc
but bs and mining gives me bis items like lionheart helm
and titanic legs
Bs is a Gold sink imo and you have to get the reciepes like lionheart from ony
Can I take herb and mining?
that way i'll be able to get mats for the helm
and someone can make it for me
and herb for pots/selling herbs etc
Not good you can only track one herb or mine
Yeah but you can easily see a mining node
Depends yeah
herbs can be invisible sometimes lmao
im leveling arms atm. Just made this macro
#showtooltip Shield Bash(Rank 1)
/equip Lucine Longsword (1h Weap)
/equip Steelcap Shield (Shield)
/cast Defensive Stance
/cast Shield Bash(Rank 1) (Interupt)
But is there any other way doing i so its a bit faster. Becasue before i have changed stance, equipped weap/shield and im rdy to interupt the cast is normaly over and the ability i want to interupt are casted...Any help.
It does not seems to trigger a Gcd when change stance
'
The gcd is triggered when you equip a different weapon
I had the same problem
Pummel is so much easier and shorter cd
that is just first in level 38 i get that
okay ty problem solved.
but its the weap switch and not stance change that givs me Gcd..
If you have rage after you kill a mob you can bloodrage to stay and combat and banadage
so is it worth using a 2h mace if it has some more weapon damage over an axe for 5% crit
What hit raiting is optimal for orc warrior wielding axes in raids? should i target 6% for spells not to miss or go even higher ?
This is for Dual wield
Worth it in what way? Do you play alts, if not it might be worth it. If you are using it for making money on the AH just alternate your days. One day mine and the next day herb. Or have your main do herb and alch so you can sell pots and have an alt mine and something else like eng to sell mounts or bs for mount mods
mount mods
:\
Caught myself saying that after but yeah same idea is implied.
is thrash blade + flurry axe good for orc leveling?
How difficult is tanking for dungeons like Brd Brs strathholm, I was thinking of starting to tank to level the rest of the way (54 orc warrior)
You might want to wait till your 58+ to switch to prot to finish level tanking, I was able to tank BRD as arms with sword/board in defensive stance at 54, but in scholo/strat the final bosses were too high for me to tank and survive. At least finish out wpl/epl/felwood quests first.
Tanking classic is the easiest thing in the world (imo). Most fights are tank and spank. You didn't really start getting into heave mechanics until like WotLK and even that's debatable.
Does anyone know if Blizzard plans on adding daze back into the game? In vanilla wow, shield bash would daze your target and heroic strike would also hit harder on dazed targets but that does not appear to be in the game currently.
there will not be any class changes during classic
the daze effect was removed at some point before 1.12
iirc
Really? i thought we had that capability for a lot longer than that especially with piercing howl being a daze
or maybe that was added in BC
i dont recall shield bash dazing in vanilla, but that was also a long time ago
I had looked it up to verify i wasnt crazy, and indeed there were posts from 2005 talking about using it to slow running humanoids. I know its something small but it was something I used often enough that I miss it.
i found a post dated in 2008
``As per today's patch notes:
Shield Bash, a key component of a Warrior's toolkit, will now officially Daze the target upon a successful hit.``
which wouldve been late tbc
but i cant find the exact patch notes
good enough for me, probably too many white monsters on my part
yeah i'm not sure, there's like 3 different official tooltips for the ability before it was removed and 2 of them mention a slow/daze
and one doesnt
but there's no patch notes referring to the daze effect
What is a good tanking wep at 49-50?
Thrash blade, or a big 2hander like princess scepter or axe off rotgrip. Also maybe tooth of eranikus for a 1h
how good is sulfuras compared to bonereavers/ashkandi as 2h fury in pve
Very competitive, particularly for Horde (due to Hamstring spam and harder time getting good 1h weapons in Phase 1)
Well, I say particularly for Horde, but Human also gets wskill from Maces so it's probably a wash there
its pnice
BRE is considered strictly better as long as you're benefitting from the proc, but it's a pretty competitively sought after weapon
expensive as all unholy fuck however
Ye, we just talked about it the other day 🤣
A lot of people will bitch about it being BiS for Shaman, but frankly they don't do dick for damage anyway, so I don't think that's much in the way of justification, when Sulf is in fact a very competitive weapon
I actually think Sulf is better in PvP too, but that's just because I'm not big on relying on procs
yeah basically
But soooo many people make arguments that Sulf should only ever go to Shaman
ignorant of the fact that they do a quarter of what Warriors would with it
60 warriors, are you finding that impale is necessary for prebis/t1?
in what context
14/5/32 is good enough for almost every guild
i keep seeing people switch to dual weild fury before 60. is that actually good to level with compared to arms?
no
didnt think so
I don't think DW Fury is actually terrible to level with if you can get yourself two competitive weapons (like the quest rewards ~40); it's just strictly not as good as Arms since lacking Tactical Mastery makes things annoying, and lacking Sweeping Strikes severely limits your MT potential
If all you're doing is pulling mobs one at a time while questing, you could certainly get away with it, but Arms is way more flexible and stronger in so many other situations (PvP, dungeons, multitarget, anything that heals, only needs 1 weapon)
fury dps is a big
in dungeons
Anyone know how much +hit is required to not miss on bosses at end game for special attacks? (Arms)
9%
ty
6 if you use an axe as an orc, or mace/sword as a human
nice, thanks
Hello all, Anyone know a good resource for Classic Macros mostly related to Prot stuff. Mostly just need some examples.
Hey guys should i learn thunder clap rank 2, retaliation and dual wield? Im lvl 20 rn
Best thing for AoE threat? Heard they nerfed Demo shout
pat - you will want retal, dual wield is up to you, i dual wielded a bit around 25-35 i think but you need strong 1 handers for it to be worthwhile.
tabah - everything significant either splits threat the more targets there are, or has a target cap. if you can finish fights in battle stance with some rage, then you can charge > sweeping strikes > whirlwind to get a good start to threat, then berserker rage before swapping back into def stance for sunders, or B stance to build rage for next pull
thunderclap rank 2 is ok for the dps at low level cleave but not compulsory IMO
Then you SSlam one, tab Sunder/Revenge the others, and make sure your DPS are prioritizing targets correctly
Yeah i've been trying to have them tasrget what i've been SSlaming, but they dont listen
put a skull up, even pugs usually pay attention to that
but really just tell them to smarten the hell up or stop grouping with them if they can't listen - threat is a thing in Classic, if they can't understand that, it's their problem
and if they still insist on ripping threat from the third mob or whatever, fuck em; let them tank it
Yeah thats exactly what i've been doing. My memory was wrong I guess, I remember spamming demo shout and cleave for threat back in the day.
Thanks Archi
I mean you can, but it's not very good threat unless there are a lot of targets
and at the point you have that many targets, you're probably not really tanking them so much as just AoEing them to death anyway
Fury
fury without question
mortal strike is occasionally useful but it doesn't do good dps
arms is for pvp
Is there a 2h fury build other than the slam spec?
For alliance
Thinking to just stick with arms until my gear improves that I can go dw fury, as I hate the slam playstyle
I guess you can play regular fury without dw talent and slam and still do very decent damage. But is just worse on the dps e-metter.
Yeah, if you don't care about min maxing you can go dw, just more competition with rouges on weapons
I mean with the heroic strike bug it’s making dw pretty strong right now. I’m assuming it’ll get fixed before I hit 60 but if not I’ll go dw also till it is fixed.
what is dw?
Dual Wield
Gonna need that BRE for that sweet r12 grind though
Something to consider.
I grinded hwl on vanilla on a high pop server. No way I’m doing that again. And my server now is aids overcrowded. Screw pvp gear.
morning yall
im feeling like a crap tank at level 23 as arms, went prot and im much hardy but now i have threat issues
if i just wanna do 5mans on this alt from 23 to 60 what should i work on?
Go arms. 2h tank
5 in cruelty rest in arms. You get ss, then you can charge in ss ww then back to dev stance to sunder and cleave spam. Drop a shout too.
I grinded as 2h fury in dungeons exclusively. Tanked majority of the time. Great dps but your at a point it’s hard to gen threat without wf totem, let alone using a wimpy 1h. Make sure you overlevel the dungeon so you aren’t glancing and missing and not critting.
I swapped to pick up ss a bit later than most advise but it was fine.
Anyone with an idea why 2 different secondary stats addons tell me i have a 5% chance to hit but im counting 8% through my gears tooltips? :O
rune 1, blackstone 1, devilsaur set 2, slashclaw bracers 1, wyrmhide 2, unforgiven 2 = 9 actually
so even more lel. Tips?
Sounds like some broken addons to me.
multiple? Maybe idk, you guys's showing correct stats?
It’s just the bug. Take your gear off. Re equip set pieces first then the other hit gear.
Does anyone have a guide for gearing up an arms warrior for PvP? I only find fury and prot gear guides.
Warrior bros. I have a spinal and a lot of BIS. Do you think I can make 2h fury work for raid parses? or should i go duel wield? i got del rend set as well https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/609436345458491417/625192374720659486/unknown.png
Didn’t have any non humans spinal could go to? And you have dal rends?...
Anyone have an recommendations as far as places I can find good macros for warriors in classic
Fight club disc
Thanks bud
Incoming stupid question
Prepare
When people say hamstring spam for windfury procs
Do u have a chance at wasting a windfury proc on the hamstring
No the hamstring creates the wf proc. You can reset your swing timer with the wf proc
So like slam you use it after a hit
Can you create a weakaura for the wf proc?
Like could i knowingly fish for WF then use WW to get a juicy hit off
you could but not really fish for it, since the buff uptime is max 1.5s
if you try to fish for it with say, hamstring, by the time you can use WW the buff will wear off
what you wanna do is wait for it to proc off an auto attack
and then immediately use an instant attack
that way you can benefit from the extra AP
and yeah you can make a weakaura np, just set it to look for an aura on you called Windfury Totem
In classic, my warrior is level 47. I levelled arms but keep hearing about 2H fury, especially at 60. I mostly solo instead of grouping or dungeon or pvp. Would fury be a better spec?
raids only or world grinding too?
Stay Arms for gearing through dungeons, there's no reason to go Fury until you're stepping into raids
Literally no advantage to being Fury in 5m dungeons
Right, I know that, but I rarely do dungeons
but I expect that to change at 60
for bis
while leveling sure, but I find it extremely unlikely that you will go from hitting 60 to farming raids without ever doing any dungeons to gear up
so again, there's no reason to spec Fury until you start raiding
warriors without sweepings strikes are a burden in dungeons
I mean "burden" is a strong word
arms warrior at 40 will do around 300 dps vs 100 dps fury
but there's no advantage to not being Arms over Fury for dungeons
also fury sucks at tanking because no tactical mastery
overall terrible spec untill 60
We were talking about 60, so that's rather irrelevant
This all makes sense, thanks for the info
If a fury war is doing 1/3 the damage of an arms war he’s probably dw and he sucks. In all my dungeon runs as 2h fury I only was beaten by another war twice and that primarily stemmed from me being low for the dungeon and them being on the high end. I have ss now but my point is it takes a retard to be that far behind.
It's not really that pronounced, SS runs out pretty quickly; yeah your opening SS->WW will be much stronger, but after that and maybe a cleave, it's gone
unless the trash pack is dying right after that burst (in which case you won't be using it on every pack anyway), damage will start to even out
Yeah not my experience at all. A couple pulls arms would burst higher than me. But always edged ahead of them. And most cases was way ahead but I think that has more to do with other factors than just the spec. And that’s even with myself being the only one sundering.
Is there a guide for tank rota in dingeons somewhere?
Charge > SS > Whirlwind :^)
what's the level u guys recomend to start some brd arena runs?
Killed some junk at 49, then got wrecked by mobs coming into Gorshak
52-54 is what I see in world chat.
I can't stand arms so respecced to dw fury at 40 and haven't looked back
My philosophy is that if dps warriors can tank dungeons I can dps dungeons with 21 points into fury 😛
For what
and ravager or bonebiter ? for leveling
ok thank you
Ravager proc is ass solo
that's what i tought
Keep it tho for later
Heard its still good for cleaning old dungs at max with the fiery blaze enchant
hey you guys, i really could use some help here:
according to the threat table sunder armor gens more threat than hs
so my question is: if i have limited rage and have to choose between hs and sunder after having 5x sunder already up, what do i press to generate the most aggro? hs or sunder?
depends how close sunder is to falling off i think
i know that using BS to buff people will get threat but doing it while they still have the buff doesn't work same for demo shout. This mechanic might be the same for sunder so using sunder at 5 stacks will generate less threat than sunder at <5 stacks and thus HS would generate more but this is pure speculation
not sure if the threat table mentions any of this
otherwise i would say just HS for dmg
2 weeks ago i would have totally agreed, but then i learned how demo shout works
threat is applies every time oyu use it no matter if it's on the target or not
the bug wasnt the threatreapplicatino
the bug was that too much threat was applied
but for this question that doesnt matter at all
then i would say if you need the threat use sunder otherwise use HS
for this question it tell's me, that if demoshout is applying aggro again even if it was already applied i'd say it is likely that sunder and all other talents do the same
but why are you even sure that it gens more threat?
well thats what you said according to threat table
if you'r still talking about sunder
even if the basethreat is higher, it pretends that there wasnt any dmg attached, which just isnt true is it
so that can mean 2 things
- sunder armore has a built in threat multiplier and therefore scales as well with dmg and therefore gear
- it has like the table suggests a pure basevalue and the dmg coming from it is just treated as "some dmg", which would mean that the better your gear the more likely it would be that hs gens more aggro than sunder
im not that deep into classic to know this so can't help you any further :c
well but you dont need to dive that deep to gimme maybe a scource that tells me how to generate the most aggro?
im willing to just take that ^^
im not even 60 yet thats how shallow my general classic knowledge is haha
is 2h arms tanking still viable in brd, lbrs, ubrs, strat and scholo or do I have to go with shield or even spec in prot tree to tank?
i wouldnt do it, you'll be totally ragestarved i guess
but i mean try it. dont even knokw how you're specced
oh arms
hm would say 1hand shield or dualwield is much better and 2hand is just too slow to gen enough aggro, but beats me, dont know shit about arms
2h holds aggro better than dw and 1h+shield when spec'd as arms, you'll just have problems if the mobs hit too hard
you can try it out and see how it goes, if you are dying then go back to the shield
the high 50s and 60 dungeons start to get pretty rough
@distant saffron have you noticed mortal strike removing a debuff each time it is replaced by another warrior when at debuff cap
krallenhieb is rake and tödlicher stoß is mortal strike
happens consistently and only with mortal strike
@lusty robin
It’s checking debuff cap, removing a debuff to make room, then overwriting the existing debuff
Doubt anyone has spent much time with it, considering how few people play MS in raid
MS sandbaggers
ye thats what I think it does but I dont think this is supposed to happen this way
I went through logs last night to see what priorities roughly look like and what debuff people should definitely not use and mortal strike is quite the oddball
seems to have very high priority and removes an extra debuff
the prio system def existed
just spam hs lol
Cant be worse dps than ret anyhow
Is my rotation with whirlwind sticking in beserker stance or swapping to beserker, casting whirlwind, and swapping back
can anyone help me out with 2 macros? or is this not the channel to talk about that. This is classic wow macro
@solar matrix Arms was actually the go to Warrior spec for the majority of Vanilla, it was a much different game back then
@open bane Smells like a bug, but would need more details/samples to really get a better idea
The real problem with MS isn’t that it kicks debuffs off, anything will kick a low prio debuff like Rake off; the issue with MS is that it’s high prio and can knock high prio abilities like curses and sunder off
@worn blaze if you’re not taking damage you can stay in Zerker, but if you’re getting hit (questing/whatever) you shouldn’t really be sitting there
Or just bind your stances to a key or ability
What's the default bind? I can't read it qq
For stances? There isn’t one
I wonder what those letters over them are then
Taht isn't supposed to be passive aggressive btw
well I dunno if this is okay but im currently my macro for swapping to defensive stance, battle stance, and berserker stance are bound to a single button
I can swap between all the stances with that button but I'm trying to add a /equip macro to them.
my berserker stance and defensive stance action bar spot are shared and battle stance has it's own action bar spot. This is some elvui thing I'm not sure why it works this way
I've got
/cast [modifier:shift,nostance:2] Defensive Stance; [stance:1] Berserker Stance; Battle Stance
on my battle stance action bar and imt rying to add
/equip [stance:2] Axe of the Ebon Drake
/equip [stance:2] Shizzle's Drizzle Blocker
to that macro
sometimes it equips the weapon/shield and sometimes it doesn't, I dont really understand
Then on my berserker stance/defensive stance action bar slot i've got,
#showtooltip
/cast [modifier:shift,nostance:2] Defensive Stance;[modifier:shift] Berserker Stance; Battle Stance
/equip [stance:1/3] Colossal Great Axe of the Tiger
this one also sometimes works and sometimes does not, I have to cycle through it twice for it to work
welp a dw warrior doing 1/3 my dps ina run, rip
going from battle stance into defensive stance works so the first macro seems to work somewhat and also with going from defensive stance into berserk stance. the macro part containing
/equip [stance:1/3] Colossal Great Axe of the Tiger
in the second macro [stance:1/3] the battle stance portion of that does not work
How about 3 different binds one for each stance... works well enough for me
thats what my other option was but i'm currently able to get this macro to work half the time so i'm close to done with it but it's the other half that just will not work and it saves me 2 keybinds
the second macro works when im swapping from stance2 to stance3 and equips the great axe but does not equip the great axe when i go from stance2 to stance1
the first macro works when i swap from stance1 to stance2 and equips the sword/shield
ive noticed that equipping a 1h while having a 2h equipped defaults it in the offhand, which might be what makes your macro borked from 2h to 1h+shield
as it would first equip your "axe of the ebon drake" in the offhand, then swap it out for a shield
if you macro equip a weapon just use the equipslot 16 line so it goes into the MH
i tried the equipslot and it does not work, i am thinking that I am attempting to add too many things inside a macro
trying to add
/equipslot 16 [nostance:2] 2h weapon; 1h wep
/equipslot 17 [stance:2] shield
i think is stretching how many /equip i can add
then adding onto that the stance swap macro
it sucks but I think i'll just do 3 keybinds to make it easier on myself.
if anyone can add any extra input into this, that would be extremely helpful but at the end I think I am attempting to add too many different commands into the macro
plus I hit the character limit lol
/equipslot [noworn:shield] 16 Thrash Blade
/eq [noworn:shield] Revenant Deflector of the Bear
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
thats my macro to go into defensive with a shield
dw macro
/equipslot 16 Ripsaw
/equipslot 17 Thrash Blade
hi, yes
@grave yarrow
Hi, just hit 60. So do I respec now into Fury?
Are you about to raid?
Then stay arms while farming
its better for open world content, pvp, dungeon farming
Also - How do I know my hit chance?
Read loads of stuff talking about 9% and such
But how do I know how much I have?
Or because im Orc and use Axe's 6%?
you can count it up from your gear
oh So it is just the gear additions?
I thought maybe there was abase hit somewhere
nope
Is there a reason why warriors don't want daggers for tanking at lvl 60?
Assuming the same dps number, why a fast sword over dagger? Is it something to do with a normalized AP calculation on weapon dmg?
did enchanting mainhand mess with wf somehow or was it only poisons?
@fiery shore usually its because of human racial
So as a Tauren though... no diff?
well then yeah, youd want to use the best weapon available to you
if it happens to be a dagger
then great
weapon speed is not really a big deal for tanks, faster is nice as it normalizes your threat gen and usually allows you to get aggro at the start of a fight easier
but after the initial pull, there's very little difference between weapon speeds
the prowz theory of aggro does compliment fast weapons on pull
but after first 10 secs the only reason youd want faster is to dump rgage if needed
our tanks want rag dagger for the extra damage proc iirc
so i have been leveling 2H fury, im only level 30, its worth it to respec to arms right?
respec @level40 to get ms, which is much better for leveling than bt
got it thank you
should we not use dual elemental sharpening stone? I assume the wowhead guide is saying the effect doesnt stack
wheres my crafter.......
Dead
@solar matrix what cha making?
🦁 ❤ ⛑
@dawn otter you should get arms now for sweeping strikes. You can kill two mobs like knife through butter with it. It speeds up warr levelling by 100%. perhaps even more.
it looks GREAT
Gz!
Thoughts on Savage Gladiator Chain vs Cadaverous Armor for Fury dps?
savage glad better in every situation
and SGC has 2.45 crit
2.45 even
scales better with kings/bloodfury
its bis until skeram chest
Did anyone ever pvp in vanilla as fury? I've been debating raiding as arms cause I'm not in a tryhard guild, but conversely I could of coourse pvp as fury? I mean all you're really missing is MS right?
It's like impossible to have a discussion on the forums about this because of all the ignorant tryhards speaking in absolutes, i.e. you "cannot" raid as arms (my guild cleared naxx with 2 arms warriors)
Arms is definitely better in pvp. Or it was in vanilla. Both from a damage perspective as well as getting a pocket healer.
Fury was doable in pvp though a little less damage output than arms. And DW. A 2hand slam build in pvp was just asking to be a HK.
because it worked like that
it was vanilla, if you were ahead of the curve you won.
if it came down to same gear levels, it was who critted n+1 between warriors*
either specs work, cause damage output at higher gear level of the warrior is too much for the HP pools, unless Paladin, and divine shield, rest could be 2-3 globaled, with WF and luck, globaled.
Classic, depending on server should be more "challenging"
since there should be averagely more geared people than 2005-2006.
Always talking 2hands, one hands was a bit eh, stick to arms till higher gear levels which if the phases repeat 2005 you will wait half a year or more.
and find a shaman healbot on H side, a blessing of freedom bot on A side-->Be god., assuming once more, ahead of the curve, not the achievement, the meaning.
Should I decide to raid as arms, does anyone happen to know what the hit cap is? Still 9% or is it lower for 2h?
you shouldnt raid as arms if you are serious about pve
abilities hit cap is 9% without weapon skill bonus, 6% with
In vanilla most all our wars were arms spec as it was a pvp focused guild. That was early on as well when fury sucked anyways. But we kind of stuck with arms for a bit after that people couldn’t afford to respec for raid and then to pvp. Especially if you are grinding rank. Fury is just flat out bad at pvp. Even fully decked out you may be able to deal damage on a person if you can stay on them. But it’s usually banking on getting the biggest hits while you can and there’s a ton of movement.
Later after I was hw and had tf and had already given up on pvp and in a different guild i specced fury and stayed there. Tried pvping with it here and there but it was nothing compared to arms with r14 weapons with wf just absolute slaughtering anything and everything. You charge up to someone and them and three other people are dead in 2 seconds max. You don’t get that with fury.
Depends on what your raid comp was. Prot tank had sunders. Usually had 3 locks for each dot. Maybe an arms warrior if boss could heal. I was usually fury shout bitch with imp battle shout and demo cry (with highest ranks available). Have to see if that strat shakes out in classic.
@summer stratus In Vanilla Mortal Strike hit a lot harder and Bloodthirst didn't exist as an attack until 1.6
People also didn't understand the impact of Hit and Weapon Skill, or most debuffs in general, so gearing priorities and debuff economy were a lot different as well
It wasn't uncommon to see an Arms Warrior in raid, but raids also weren't bringing 5-10 dps Warriors either
and then the fire fury nation attacked
dissemination of information is a lot better now than it was before too - people purposefully hid a lot of stuff, rather than share their findings outright, so not everyone caught on to different playstyles or tried new raid strategies at the same time
So while I'm sure some people were playing Fury earlier, to varying degrees of success (one of the off tanks in my guild tried to go Fury in BWL and was abysmal, though then again he might have just been really bad at it), I remember going Fury in Naxx, but even then a lot of people still played Arms
ive eben stuck raid fury for like 3 weeks now while i pinched pennies to buy my helm
finally time to go arms after mc tonight
god i missed it
Thrash Blade or Eskhandar's Claw for tanking? playing as Human
I was given Eskhandar's in raid a few days ago, just wanted to ask which one I'd get more use out of due to sword spec for Humans and such.
I've been using claw so far and it seems alright
claw is ok
youll want it for vael anyway
but go get mirahs from scholo
then 6 hit / 4 piece valor
We had like 6-7 wars at times. And yeah I was aware fury didn’t work at the time but even after arms wars stayed arms and people raided in their pvp spec. We didn’t optimize in that group, hell we never even had 40 people. But the weapon skill and hit was understood fairly early. Although as a tank I didn’t even care that much.
I went fury during aq and for naxx but was in a much more hardcore raid group.
It was a fun time other than being negative dkp
Anyone know if Flurry axe is better then dal'rends?
should a tank roll on brutality blade its basicly just Mirah but better until phase 2
dont take it from your furies
Vice Grips of the Tiger vs Devilsaur Gauntlets?
For DPS? Devilsaur
Devilsaur only give .40% more crit and has 10 less attack power
and the bonus hit chance from the set is dimishing past 9
change some of the other hit pieces you have then pmuch
I assumed you were human cuz you were using dal rend
Tauren
and that is for orc/human using their weapons
gaurd captain trinket is better than hand
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YXJpasqqodeq9B4jeUZDP9khFQf5QocyMby6moydJWk/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=true# ive you havent seen this sheet this has optimal setups
this is very helpful ty
how is it not
in a vacuum head to head it is but like i said, gaurd captain lets you skip hit change for more dps
1 hit vs 2% chance for an extra attack - that extra attack can crit, procs weapon effects, gives rage
except its a bigger skip to get the hit elsewhere
while youre here if youre gonna dw fury tank should you just go with the fury bis 1:1 or is there smth you should definitely have for tanking that isnt part of the dps set
i made
Yes, ive seen your build
just get devilsaur, then swap out
blackcrow for riphook
rune for hoj
alternatively, get edgemasters, like you should as non human/orc
blackcrow and riphook do the exact same thing
oh your right sorry
they both increase your damage but thats pretty meta
so if i get edgemasters i would only need 6% chance right
why flurry axe
yup
or you could use battlechasers + rend bracers
the difference is pretty minor though
and battlechasers are big dollar
edgemaster and flurry are pretty big dollar too
thats what you get for playing warrior, especially non human
wait, you have a LH recipe?
nah
i can gather the mats
then effectively, you're still paying for it
Instead of selling the mats you gathered to earn money, you're using them
yea also if i dont find the recipe i would prob have to tip an ass ton
you would ye
you 99.99% will not find the recipe
where does it drop
rn not many places
61+ elites
best bet is probably onyxia or elementium lockboxes
*eternium
Yes, but its on the same table as BoE epics from those mobs
ah okay
@distant saffron for dw fury tanking as troll stick to the regular fury bis or smth tank specific I should grab (aside from fire res if im tanking rag etc)
so id probably hit cap with mask of the unforgiven truestrike brigam and blackstone using edgemasters ofc and then just use whatever epic I can get in raids pmuch for the rest of the slots?
i.e still grab tier pieces even tho set is useless cuz they have stats
do you think people will be buying Arcanite Reapers
gotcha
i was made my guild's weaponsmith
the other warrior is the armorsmith
not alot of useful stuff for weaponsmith im seeing
nighftfall/annihilator really
nightfall not till phase 3
aye
This is what I'm going for with a duel wield fury, does it look alright?
Alright cool
If you do a lot of 5man 1/1 piercing 4/5 battle shout could be nice
yes Kahrax
Hello there, im having difficult to hold aggro in AOE situations (blizzards and alike) Demo shout dont apear to be gerenating any threat. and even cleave dont seems to gererate suficient threat...
hey guys minimum hit required for pre-raid ubrs
is it worth going fury for them? just got rivenspike
should i spam demo shout?
Just give up
I think people should let you establish aggro before just autoblizzarding first
That should help
But tab target sundering is goood
Don't forget to switch to beserker stance for berserker rage so u generate more rage while being hit
To be honest your not holding Agro on a big aoe pack over Mage’s
Focus on holding agro on casters or ranged mobs and let blizzard handle the rest
On another note I like to use WW on cd with a slow main hand tanking normal sized dungeon packs 🙂
For 2h fury do you just do an improved slam build?
Unless you really, really just don't like Slam, in which case there's an argument for Horde to play a 2h Spamstring spec. If you're Ally, you really are stuck as DW or 2h Slam, though
So I'm trying to find some information on this but can't seem be able to.
As a Human, if I have Obsidian Edged Blade (+8 2h Sword Skill) with 313 Two-Handed Sword skill, do I still need to get to 6% Hit Chance to be capped?
(2H Fury specc)
The extra 8 give you 0.8 hit so effectively you still need 6%
So it still rounds down from 0.8 to 0?
well rather you cant get a fraction of a hit rating from gear
so you'd need 5.2% hit
but you can only get them in blocks of 1%
Ah alright
Thanks!
Is devilsour set still worth If i overcap with 1% Since i got ony Neck + 2% hit on head and shoulders . Im orc so just need 6%
Can get the last % with princess ring or ubrs wrists
I'm not really sure of any items thats better then princess ring or UBRS wrists, but can change helm to Eye of Rend (If you're using Unforgiven atm and not Lionheart)
yeah ive got way too much fuckin hit too
using girth restrainer, sadist, valor shjoulders, battlechasers
Think If i shall get devilsour or not
Okok
lose the hit elsewhere
Will sit on 7% hit If i get that + bracers not the end of the world
i mean you can use sadist bracers instead
Got ony Neck
Do you have LH?
dropping hit is hard
smh are those ribsteel feet?
2 pairs went up for 70g on arugal a few days ago
now theres nothing
no one has seen them in trade, dropping
especially since im putting bloodmail back on
the second my BRE drpos
which surely must be soon..
I waited 42 weeks for mine
And it never dropped
Oh, sorry
did I say that out loud?
for the first one?
fury warrior loot luck has been hilarious so far for us
3 weeks of 0 pieces
then we got our first piece of fury warrior loot yesterday
bracers of stab
but hey we've gotten like 3 full sets of cenarion

Hey guys. Is there any pawn string we can find ?
Is rend a skill I should rank up as I level?
is there list of 2h weapon rankins for fury endgame?
Is it worth me buying the judges gravel at level 47 to replace whirlwind axe?
So i just got the Krol Blade. Should i Equip? Im 58
What race?
Orc
Does the speed of the weapons matter or is it just dps that I'm looking at? Can't find any resources on if your MH should be fast or slow, same for the OH
MH slower, OH faster is the usual guide
Guys what u recommend addon for threat meter in classic detail isnt that good
ClassicThreatMeter
ice barbed spear
arcanite reaper
obsidian edged blade is relatively easy to get if you're raiding
yeeee
ice barbed spear
🤔
Blackrock slicer, Demonshear, Dreadforge
theres your 3 easy/good items
how good are these?
Pretty nice
I’m using princess mace until I get one of the three mentioned above or even black hand doomsaw.
awesome, did the math and it seems like one of th best you can get
can anyone here help me with warrior quest on alliance side - EU Skullflame
ice barb spear not available til phase 3
Newb here, when leveling 1v1 against mobs. I'm wanting to go protection warrior for when I get to dungeons. However, the protection stance doesn't seem effecient for leveling. Is this correct thinking? Are most low level warriors staying in the balanced mode (forget what it is called).
@blazing lodge This is such a basic question, I'd suggest reading some guides before asking questsions here
does the damage on deep wounds reset when you get a new crit? it doesn't stack on intself right
@blazing lodge You could go to the classic warrior discord and get ridiculed worse.
Would anyone use judges gravel over whirlwind axe? with mace spec
its technically more damage, but i assume the 5% crit would make up for it
I'd sell it, but you could use it just don't respecc, you'll find another axe later
oki, im level 50 now and dont know what i should be aiming to replace whirlwind axe with long term
looking through progression guides now
two weapons in uldaman, 2 in mara. I would go mara at 50 if you haven't
get your bis ring and pick up a weapon
also at that stage, there's a mara quest trinket which is always bis for tanking, but useful if you are ever getting hit, as well as a hinterlands trinket. I still see people low 50s without anything
Anyone have an equipment set addon?
I say ravager axe @vestal whale
so what's flurry axe worth? 100g?
depends on the server usually between 200 and 300g
ah right, how is 1h fury performing in dungeons atm? I know in MC its a must. im still arms atm
Any tips on threat? got to 60 this week not stayed arms not even close to BiS shit and already pulling from tank
in MC
@tidal rapids stay in zerker stance, try not to use HS until 4 or more Sunders are established, wait for 2-3 before initially attacking and watch your threat meter. You could also be dealing with a bad tank, who isnt establishing enough threat due to low hit or lack of class knowledge on threat generating abilities.
what performs better atm in terms of dps, both st and cleave/aoe
dual wield or 2h
doe tank wannabe's in classic use explosions from engenering or go for blacksmit proffesion?
(i say tank wannabe cause i know nothing so its about me only)
@charred terrace i believe consensus is 2h for wf horde; dw for alli
axe
guess this is my up to 60 weapon?
gonna cleave farm brd
