❓ Why no Impale?
Impale only affects crits from Abilities (yellow attacks). Around that level (25-35) only 10-20% of your overall damage are yellow attacks and your crit chance is 5-10% based on talents. Best case scenario 20%*10%*10% you're looking at a 0.2% overall damage increase per talent point which is laughable. At higher levels (45+) with Axe Spec, Cruelty, WW and MS your crit chance is up to 15% and now about 30% of your damage are yellow attacks. 30%*15%*10% now Impale is worth 0.45% overall damage per talent point, still way behind 2H spec and a lot of other talents in the Arms tree. TL;DR: Impale is bad for leveling and requires very high crit chance to be worth it.

they are up to preference, arms is going to be more straightforward and better in a pvp environment
fury has more ST potential and you can kind of abuse /sit for enrage due to batching

so /sit for crit is in the game but it wont trigger enrage unless you are standing
if you sit and stand rapidly the game will sometimes interpret your character as sitting to register the crit, then standing to register the enrage proc

on a fresh server without high lvl friends to hold your hand i would avoid WW axe entirely
spend the time farming SM armory for ravager instead, it's only slightly worse but has a cool on-hit that is more useful for AOE grinding, you also get exposed to much higher xp/hr rates and the option of other useful drops from Herod and trash
Then your next upgrade will be from uldaman end boss (if you're lucky) or just get the staff from maraudon quest

Have a skull macro ready and just mark the nerd you are going to hit. Most people will follow it if not screw em.
Not fully tested it yet on classic, but when you battleshout you get an amount of aggro per player buffed on all agroed mobs.
On private servers it was worth more aggro than demo or thunder clap on the opener.
So it was fairly normal to go charge > battleshout > Sunder/revenge.
But not been able to check the numbers yet.
Battleshout was something like 50 aggro per player buffed so 250 aggro on all mobs. Sunder was something like 350 aggro.
Demo and Thunder clap were only 40 aggro on the effected target.
So it was like a mini Sunder on all targets, but no means to check what the classic numbers are at the mo.

Also keep in mind that once you have threat the melee need to hit 110% threat to pull aggro of you. And range need 130% threat.
So you want your healer out of melee range and you don't want them healing you until you have actually engaged the targets.
Being the first one to gain threat on the mobs is worth a heap of gold.
As you don't have to work 10% harder to get aggro back.

and it's super worth it as warriors have massive downtimes in their cleave rotation, this fills that, so you are pretty much always cleaving for about 200-400 dps
I'll be streaming in like 5 minutes, we needed to take a break because we cleaved armory in under 9 minutes
it effectively doubles the dps of all the warriors who are not tanking mobs and gaining rage regen while also letting you bank rage for coordinated whirlwinds so that you don't have to deal with mobs running away

and frankly, fighting things above your level is almost never a good idea regardless
doing green quests is perfectly acceptable and even recommended
then do the quest later
you're not "locked in" to one area or line
if you decide you absolutely have to do it right then and there, get help; there are plenty of other people out in the world too

if you slow down in Westfall, Loch Modan is pretty good (~12-15 on the west side and closer to 18 in the east), and Darkshore is very good, though a bit of a pain to get to at that level
@west shuttle tbh there aren't really any dungeons when you're 10-15 as Alliance, lowest practical level for Deadmines is 17 or maybe slightly lower with a strong group, but you're not going to contribute much

@inner salmon @hot quartz you can kind of use whatever tbh; 2 competitive 1hrs will out perform a low level 2hr, but getting a single good 2hr is usually easier than 2 competitive 1hrs
the only other advantage to super slow 2hrs is hamstring kiting, which frankly isn't that important in Classic (but viable if you want to go through the trouble)
and once you get to MS/WW, the single strong hit is usually worth a bit more in short combats against leveling mobs than a multitude of smaller ones
