Race is important information when talking about transmog because armours can and do look different on certain races.
Besides that anyway it is pretty difficult there isn't really any Viking helmets and there are no shoulder pad options. That is if you wanted to make a Viking and not a marvel comic book hero.

i dont want to use the whole set, its the whole point. The point is having a "lone warrior/traveller" type, hence the backpack and the lack of shoulders. The chest adds nicely to having that space on the arms with nothing and the larger collar for the neck area, also fits nicely with the helmet as a face mask type of thing. The lower half literally is to complement the dark colored theme and the tabard and sword complements the blue
