they did away with that in BFA because in there infinite wisdom they thought having cool class sets was bad
and that they could make more sets and more interesting sets without it... which as we've seen is the exact opposite of what they did.

It was probably just an excuse, the real reason is probably that class sets are too much work.
I hope they come back in shadowlands regardless. Or are covenant sets the new thing?

They said they won't come back for Shadowlands, I don't care about missing out on class specifc raid sets tbh, I just miss class specific transmog in general, I had hoped that BfA would offer a new challenge mode where the reward was a full class transmog set, but we don't have a challenge mode at all this expansion, when we've had one for 3 expansions in a row rip
