They’d have to completely re-do their gear system to make it work like that, it’s not just something they can toggle. The colors need to to be added, made sure they work, fix, etc, for every single piece of gear in the entire game.
You might as well just make a new game at that point, with the amount of gear that WoW has.
The code is older, since WoW is run off a modified Warcraft engine.

WoW gets around the colors options by just adding the same gear with different colors; they just don’t have every color.
Ex. Old tier sets were datamined with sometimes as many as 5 or 6 different color schemes, but only 1 or 2 was added. Sometimes the others get added later, sometimes not.
Like the Firelands sets were released with 2 different colors, but 4 or 5 datamined. We just got another of the color schemes with island expeditions.

I get that war/titan forging benefits more of the player base than tier sets did, but can the stand in sets at least look cool? Uld and draz plate was meh, and palace is just bad.

They got rid of tier sets because of gear issues in legion. Which wasnt even the tier sets fault. You'd rock a full set of tier. Then usually your bis legendaries were offpeices (with some exceptions) so then M+ was basically rolling for bracers/boots and trinkets

Yeah most people seem to like #2 which isn't weird really cause it's the mog I've spent most effort and time in putting together. The only problem with that particular mog is that I can't find mounts that fits it. Need both a ground and flying mount. Any suggestions?

First real attempt at a transmog set, deceptively not a full set; boots, gloves and shoulders aren't from the exact same set but are supposed to go together, chest and legs are from legion pvp juggernaut set, belt is just a random belt that I chose and the piece the stands out the most (mostly for being a bit off), is the mouthguard from a wotlk pvp set. Thoughts?
