Not necessarily. It's entirely possible to reach prestige cap by only doing the WQs. Have a couple guildmates that do just that, just have to keep on top of those if you want to keep that steady pace.

but armor has to be of the type you use. So no farming cloth with warriors, leather with mages, etc

@dire leaf Sorry for the late response. You could try Season 4 PvP gear (Brutal) or the Heroic 410 t13 Dragon Soul gear.

Transmogs are really dependant on tabards

if you have Tabard of the Lightbringer, it'll make t13 heroic gear look stunning with just about any purple weapon available.

Whereas S4 PVP gear is probably best when paired with the s7 Gladiator tabard (pretty rare nowadays).
